이 글은 ‘현대조선문학선집’의 구성 원리와 균열 양상을 점검하는 한편, 북조선 문학의 인식적 지도를 제공하고자 한다. 이 ‘선집’은 각 작품에 새로운 의미를 발굴하여 재해석한 정전집, 즉 조선문학을 새롭게 구성한 문화정치적 기획의 산물이다. 즉, 1950년대 중반 이후 조선문학을 재배치하고자 했던 근대 기획은 프롤레타리아문학, 특히 이는 ‘사회주의 사실주의’ 문학을 중심핵으로, 북조선식 조선문학의 지도를 재구성하고자한다. 하지만, 김일성이 지도한 항일무장투쟁의 침투로 조선문학의 재배치는 균열의 양상을 드러낸다. 이는 근대문학 갈래에 ‘가요’의 배치, 즉‘혁명(아동)가요’를 전면화하려는 문화정치적 기획 때문이다. 하지만, 이는 ‘목적론’에 따른 ‘자의적 왜곡’의 한 극단이라고 말할 수 있다. 또한이 기획은 유일사상체계가 구축된 후, 만들어진 주체문학, 특히 ‘항일혁명문학’의 특이한 형태의 원형을 제공한다. 그런데 이는 근대문학 갈래의해체라 할 만하다. 하지만 이는 근대문학의 역동성 또는 근대문학의 탐욕성의 일부이기도 하다.
그런데, ‘프롤레타리아문학’을 넘어서 ‘항일혁명문학’으로 나아감은 무엇인가? 북조선의 역사, 또는 북조선의 정통성과 관련된 문제는 아닐까? 김일성과 주체사상의 원형은 1930년대 김일성이 지도한 항일무장투쟁에그 뿌리를 두고 있다. 이에 따라 유일사상체제가 구축된 후, 주체문학은김일성이 ‘창작’한 것으로 재구성된, 항일혁명문학이 중심핵으로 재배치되어 있다. 이는 한반도 남쪽 중심의 역사에서 가려졌던 한반도 북쪽의역사, 즉 식민지 시기 주변부의 역사에 불과했던 김일성의 항일무장투쟁의 역사를 중심부의 역사로 배치하고자 한 북조선 문학권력이 가졌던 욕망의 파편이 아닐까? 이런 역사의 발현이 ‘항일혁명문학’으로 나아간 것이 아닐까? 이에 대한 의문은 여전히 남는다.

영어초록

This text checks the rearranging principle and split aspect of ‘A Selection of Modern Josun Literature’, while it chooses to provide a cognitive map of North Josun literature. The ‘selection’ is a product of cultural and political planning which has newly ‘re’arranged a collection of canons where each work was reinterpreted by finding a new meaning in it, that is, Josun literature. Namely, the modern planning aiming at ‘re’arranging the literature after the middle of the 1950s chooses to reconstruct a map of North Josun-style Josun literature with proletarian literature, especially, literature of ‘socialist realism’ as its central nucleus. However, the penetration of the anti-Japanese armed struggle guided by Kim Il-sung gets the rearrangement of the literature to reveal a split aspect. It is due to the cultural and political planning of arranging ‘songs’ in the branch of modern literature, that is, generalizing ‘revolutionary(juvenile) songs’. But it can be said to be one extreme of ‘arbitrary distortion’ according to ‘teleology’. Also, the planning provides a peculiar form of archetype for the self-reliance literature made after the unique idea system was constructed, in particular, ‘anti-Japanese revolutionary literature’. And it can be said to be the disorganization of the branches of modern literature. It is also part of the dynamicity or avarice of modern literature.
And what proceeds towards ‘anti-Japanese revolutionary literature’ beyond ‘proletarian literature’? Isn’t it the issue related to North Josun’s history or orthodoxy? Kim Il-sung and the archetype of self-reliance ideology find roots in the anti-Japanese armed struggle guided by Kim Il-sung in the 1930s. Accordingly, self-reliance literature was reconstructed as his creation, and ‘re’arranged with anti-Japanese revolutionary literature as its central nucleus. Isn't it a fragment of desire had by the literary power of North Josun that wanted to arrange as the history of the central part the history of the north of the Korean Peninsula hidden in the history centering on its south, that is, the history of his anti-Japanese armed struggle which was but the history of the peripheral part in the colonial period? Didn’t the revelation of such history proceed towards ‘anti-Japanese revolutionary literature’? I still question about it
