초등학교 부적응 영재 심리 상담과 그림 특징 사례연구 및 제언 (A Case Study on Psychological Counseling and Drawing Characteristics of Gifted Children with Elementary School Maladjustment, and Suggestions)

초록

본 연구는 초등학교 부적응 영재 학생 4명을 대상으로 1-3년 동안 심리 상담과 그림 특징에 대해 상관성을 연구하였다. 학교 부적응 영재들 중에는 개인적인 성향으로 인해 학교 부적응 학생으로 오인 을 받는 경우가 있어서 학교부적응 영재의 심리와 그림 특징에 나타난 요인을 연구하였다. 학교 부적 응 영재를 심리 상담하고 그림 특징을 연구한 결과와 중요성을 요약하면 다음과 같다.
연구 결과 학교 부적응 영재심리 성향은 신경질적인 경향이 있었으며, 주변에 친구가 적었다. 수업 시간에는 멍하니 공상하는 경우가 있었으며, 친구들과 가끔 시사적인 문제로 논쟁을 하면서 다혈질적 인 성향이 나타나기도 했다. 또한 영재는 주변 환경을 고려하지 않고 자신의 생각을 주장했으며, 자존 심과 욕구가 강하게 나타났다. 그림 형태는 그림을 글로 그리는 경우도 있었으며, 단순하거나 복잡했 고, 대칭적으로 표현하는 경우가 있었다. 그림 형태가 구조적이고 완벽함을 추구하거나 구체적이고 사 실적이며, 선이 간결하고 꼼꼼한 경우가 있었다. 그림 내용은 시사적인 내용이 많았으며, 언어로 표현 하기 어려운 과학적 지식이나 역사, 미래와 관련된 지식을 표현했다. 영재가 관심이 있는 한 분야의 전문지식을 그림으로 표현하는 경우도 있었으며, 그림에 말 주머니를 활용하여 생각을 서술하였다. 제 언하면 첫째, 비동시성 발달을 수용하는 교육환경이 필요하다. 둘째, 조력자가 필요하다. 셋째, 미술로 소통하는 방법을 활용할 수 있다. 넷째, 우뇌 교육이 필요하다. 다섯째, 영재의 생각에 공감이 필요하 다. 여섯째, 국가적 차원의 지원이 필요하다. 학교 부적응 영재는 병리학적 증상이 아니라 영재들에게36 한국도자학연구 Vol.18 No.1. 백중열보여지는내적특성임을감안할때, 영재에대한올바른이해와적합한교육환경이제공될때학교부 적응 영재에 대한 정확한 진단과 평가가 이루어질 것이다.

영어초록

This study researched the correlation between psychological counseling and drawing characteristics, targeting total four gifted students with elementary school maladjustment for 1-3 years. Some of the gifted children with school maladjustment could be misunderstood as students with school maladjustment due to their personal disposition, so this study researched the factors shown in the psychology and drawing characteristics of gifted students with school maladjustment. The results and importance of psychologically-counseling and researching the drawing characteristics of gifted children with school maladjustment could be summarized as follows.
In the results of this study, the gifted children with school adjustment tended to be sharp-tempered with less friends around. Sometimes, they vacantly daydreamed during class hours. They sometimes tended to be quick-tempered by debating current issues with peers. Also, the gifted children argued their own opinions without considering their surrounding environment, and they showed strong pride and desire. In the form of drawing, there were cases like drawing writing instead of picture, and expressing something simple or complicating, and symmetrical. Some of the forms of drawing pursued something structural and perfect, concrete and realistic, or simple and meticulous lines. The contents of drawing included many current issues, and also expressed scientific knowledge, history, or future-related knowledge that would be tough to be expressed verbally. There was a case of expressing expertise in interested area, and the thinking was described by using speech bubbles in drawing. In the suggestions, first, the educational environment that accepts the asynchronous development is necessary. Second, the assistants are needed. Third, the communication method through art could be used. Fourth, the right-brain education is necessary. Fifth, it is needed to empathize with gifted children’s thinking. Sixth, the national-level support is needed.
Considering that the gifted children with school maladjustment are not a pathological symptom, but an internal characteristic shown in gifted children, once the correct understanding of gifted children and proper educational environment are provided, it would be possible to perform the accurate diagnosis and evaluation of gifted children with school maladjustment.
