초록

This article is about the images of Korean through the transmitted resources in the Fukui prefecture. In brief, firstly, the Gaya had two contradictory images. The strong armed forces were accepted. On the contrary, the minority people such as castaways got killed or excluded by the local people. Secondly, the Silla’s were described as negative images such as the invaders or enemies. The Oni images of Silla’s people also confirms this. Thirdly, Baekje’s people were treated as relatively friendly. They were described as knowledge transmitter. They were not only described as an advanced technology transmitter, such as an weaving skill, metalwork, roof tile manufacture, medical treatment, well sinking method, but also, ideological cultural transmitter such as statue of the Buddha and Baeksan beliefs. Lastly, The War memories and the images of cultural transmitter were strongly left to the Goryeo and Joseon dynasty. Based on the historical facts of the Goryeo and Mongol allied invasions of Japan, Goryeo was described as the invaders. On the other hand, Joseon were severely damaged by the Imjin War, but the fact of Fukui’s roll as an gateway of connecting with Joseon were emphasized than that. Also, Sakichi shrine’s sister bell story tell us that the images of Joseon were perceived as an advanced technology source region. The images of Korean in the Fukui were varies through the changes of the times.
