군장병 대상의 효과적인 설교 방안에 관한 연구 (An effective preaching strategy for the military soldiers)

초록

이 논문은 군장병 대상의 효과적인 설교 사역의 방안을 연구한 것이다. 군장병 대상의 효과적인 설교 사역의 방안을 모색하기 위한 연구 방법론은 상황에 대한 서술로부터 시작하여 해석과 규범, 전략의 4단계로 진행되는 실천신학의 연구방법론을 활용하였다.
연구자는 먼저 군장병 대상 설교 사역의 현황을 조사하였고, 종교심리와 조직사회의 관점에서 군선교 현장의 독특성을 분석하였다. 이를 통해서 현재 한국의 군부대 장병들은 생사관의 진리를 탐구할 수 밖에 없는 긴장의 상황에 처해 있으며 각종 스트레스를 극복해야 할 필요성을 느끼며 특히 사병들의 경우에는 자기 나름대로 의무복무제의 의미를 모색하는 상황에 있음을 살펴보았다. 또한 군선교의 상황을 조직사회의 관점에서 분석해보면 군부대 장병들은 상명하복의 철저한 계급사회 속에서 끈끈한 운명공동체를 이루고 있으며 그 내부는 다종교 공존 사회로서 다양한 교육, 훈련, 과업들이 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있다.
이어서 두번째로 군선교 사역에 임하는 설교자의 정체성을 하나님의 말씀을 전하는 목회자와 군부대의 정신전력 강화를 기대하는 지휘관의 통제를 따라야 하는 참모 장교의 이중적인 신분을 살펴보았다. 그리고 셋째로 군선교 설교자들에 대한 군장병들의 종교심리적인 기대사항들을 사생관 확립의 필요성과 군복무 스트레스를 극복할 방안, 그리고 군복무의 의미와 가치 추구의 관점에서 파악하였고 그에 따른 복음전도 설교와 성경인물설교, 그리고 성화설교를 청중의 기대심리에 부응하는 설교 전략으로 제시하였다. 마지막으로 연구자는 군장병 대상의 효과적인 설교 사역을 위하여 귀납적인 설교 전개와, 복음전도와 기독교교육의 조화, 연간목회계획에 근거한 연간설교계획 수립, 연간 예배 및 설교 모범 발간, 그리고 군선교 사역자들에 대한 정기적인 설교 세미나를 제안하였다.

영어초록

This article studies an effective preaching ministry for the military soldiers. In order to settle up an effective preaching ministry for the military soldiers, this study follows the four steps of description, investigation, normative model, and the practical strategy as suggested in the practical theological methodology.
As for the first step of the description, this study conducts a general survey of the current preaching ministry situation in the Korean military soldiers, and investigates the missional uniqueness of the Korean army in terms of the religious mentality and the society of organization. The most Korean soldiers are presently so stuck under the severe military strain the they are seeking the truth of life and death, how to overcome the various stress, and the meaning of the compulsory military service especially in the case of the ranks. If we investigate the military soldiers’ situation in terms of the society of organization, we come to understand that the Korean soldiers are bound together by a common destiny in the multi religious military society with the various military tasks and on-the-job training.
In preaching ministry for the military soldiers, preacher's identity should keep the dual position of the Christian minister who delivers the Word of God and the staff officer who should be under the commanding officer asking for the empowerment of the spiritual combat power of the military camp. Thirdly this study investigates soldiers' religious expectation for preaching in terms of the felt-need of the truth of life and death, solution to the various stress, and the meaning of the compulsory military service. In order to answer these three religious felt need of soldiers, preacher needs to proclaim the evangelical sermon, biblical biographical sermon and the sanctification sermon for the progressive character building and personality maturity of the military soldiers. Lastly, this study suggests inductive preaching form, harmony of evangelism and the Christian education, annual preaching planning based upon the annual ministry planning, annual Christian worship and preaching manual, and regular preaching seminar for the effective preaching ministry in the army church.
