온라인 디자인 교육콘텐츠 현황과 개선방향 연구 –국내 사이버대학을 중심으로 - (A Study on the States of Online Design Educational Contents and Improvement Direction - focused on cyber university in Korea -)

초록

본 연구에서는 기존 문헌 연구를 통해 온라인 디자인 교육 및 교육콘텐츠에 대하여 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 그리고 국내 사이버대학 디자인 교육콘텐츠 비교 분석 및 온라인 디자인 학습자 특성 정보 분석 내용을 바탕으로 S디지털대학교 디지털디자인학과 재학생 대상 설문조사를 진행하였다. 이와 같은 연구 내용들을 토대로 온라인의 특성을 최대한 활용한 디자인 교육콘텐츠 개발을 해봄으로써 향후 사이버대학 디자인 교육콘텐츠의 개선방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 도출된 향후 사이버대학 온라인 디자인 교육콘텐츠의 개선방향은 다음과 같다. 1) 다양한 배경의 학생들의 특성을 고려한 그리고 각 학생들 수준이나 요구에 맞는 철저한 학습자 수준별 맞춤 콘텐츠를 개발하여 학생들에게 제시하고 선택할 수 있도록 한다. 2) 모든 교육콘텐츠 공통적으로 ‘학습이유 및 학습목표 제시-학습활동 실시 - 자기평가 - 정리’의 과정으로 구성하고 학습자별 특성을 반영하여 연령 및 수준에 맞는 사례 및 소재를 다양하게 활용하여 학습 흥미를 유도하고 스스로 진도를 탐색할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 3) 온라인 디자인 교육콘텐츠 제작 시 학습자 주도적 학습이 가능하도록 한다. 4) 인터넷과 웹이 공동의 지식 창조 활동을 가능하게 해주는 기술이므로 이 기술을 제대로 활용하여 학습지원체제를 쌍방향으로 구성하여 축적된 일방적 정보를 제공하는 것이 아니라, 학생과 학생, 학생과 교수가 함께 지식을 창조해 갈 수 있도록 한다. 5) 비디자인 전공 신입생들이 졸업 후 각 개인별 진로 모색을 할 수 있도록 졸업 전 디자인 실무현장과 SNS의 활용법에 대해 미리 체험해볼 수 있는 교육콘텐츠를 제공하여 재학생들의 졸업 후 진로에 대해서도 고려하는 고등교육기관으로서의 역할과 책임도 가져야 한다. 6) 온라인에서 교수자 뿐만 아니라, 동료 학습자, 외부의 제3자가 함께 학습과정의 성취도와 학습 성과물을 평가함으로써 디자인 과제평가의 주관적 측면을 보완할 수 있도록 하여 학생들의 학습동기유발을 촉진할 수 있도록 교육콘텐츠를 운영한다.

영어초록

This study first investigated the theory in online design education and educational contents through the existing literature. And It conducted a survey of the digital department students of S Digital University based on the comparative analysis of design educational contents of domestic cyber universities and the analysis of the information about online design learners' characteristics. After all, the study aimed to seek directions to be improved for the future design educational contents of cyber universities by developing design educational contents making the best use of the characteristics of online, based on the research contents. Directions to be improved in the future for the cyber university online design educational contents from this process are as follows: 1) by developing thoroughly customized contents for each learner's level and demand considering students' characteristics who have various backgrounds, it should present to the students and allow them to select; 2) induces learning interest to the students and provides the opportunities to explore their progress by themselves, by making them variously use cases and materials suitable for their age and levels by composing all educational contents as a process of suggesting the reason why they learn and their objectives of learning - practising learning activity - self-evaluation - arrangement and by reflecting each learner's characteristics; 3) at the time of manufacturing online design educational contents, it should make learner's self-directed learning possible; 4) by building two-way learning support system using the internet and web technology properly, for it enables activity of creating common knowledge, not by providing cumulative unilateral information, it helps students and students and students and professors enable to create knowledge together; 5) to make non-design freshmen seek their career individually after they graduate, by providing educational contents for students to experience in advance how to use SNS and the design practical field before they graduate, it should take a role and responsibility as the higher educational institution that considers students' career even after they graduate; 6) by helping complement the subjective aspect of design assignment evaluation with achievement and result of learning evaluated online not by a teacher but by fellow students and the third person of outside, it should run educational contents to facilitate students' learning motivation.
