편리성 개념이 도입된 인터넷 바(Internet Bar) 공간디자인 사례 분석 연구 - 중국의 사례들을 중심으로 - (A Study on the case of Internet Bar Spatial Design introduced of the concept of convenience (Chinese Cases-centered))

초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 중국에서 인터넷 바(Internet Bar)라고 불리는 PC방의 사업은 체인화, 전문화되어 지속적으로 성장하고 있으며 이에 따라 인터넷 바의 공간설계 또한 이용자의 편의성 확보를 위해 많은 변화를 하고 있다. 중국에서의 인터넷 바는 주 로 초기 인터넷 바, 인터넷 카페, 복합 인터넷 카페 유형으로 다양한 형태를 보이고 있으나 인터넷 바의 공간 활용에서 아직도 보 완해야 하는 점이 많아 이용객들의 부정적인 평가를 듣고 있다. 이번 연구를 통해 중국 정부의 인터넷 바 규제 정책 및 경제 상황 에 부합하는 편리성의 개념이 도입된 사용자 중심의 인터넷 바 공간 디자인 설계를 제안하여 향후 인터넷 바의 발전에 도움이 되 고자 한다. (연구방법) 선행연구 및 문헌 자료들을 중심으로 중국 인터넷 바의 공간 디자인 현황을 파악하고 중국 인터넷 바 공 간의 구성요소를 인터넷 공간, 휴게·교류 공간, 일반 서비스 공간, 부가 업무 공간으로 분류하였다. 그리고 편리성의 개념을 제 시하고 선행 연구들의 내용을 참고하여 공간 편리성의 속성 요소들을 추출하였다. 공간 편리성의 속성에 따른 요소는 물리적인 편의성, 접근성, 가변성과 심리적인 편안함, 쾌적함, 디테일함으로 구분할 수 있다. 이렇게 분석된 공간 구성 요소와 공간 편리성 속성요소를 기준으로 중국의 대표적인 복합 인터넷 카페 사례들을 중심으로 분석했다. (결과) 중국의 복합 인터넷 카페 사례들 을 분석해 본 결과‘왕경(网竟)’이라고 불리는 e-sports를 중심으로 하는 인터넷 바는 전체적으로 공간편리성이 중요하게 나 타났고, 편리성의 심리적인 속성요소인 편안함이 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한‘왕공(网公)’이라고 불리는 공공 문화 서비스를 결 합한 인터넷 바는 공간편리성의 요소가 전반적으로 보통으로 나타났지만 가변성의 요소는 매우 높게 나타났다. 이에 반해 ‘왕 카(网咖)’라고 불리는 인터넷 카페와 같은 캐주얼함을 강조한 인터넷 바는 전반적으로 공간편리성의 물리적, 심리적 요소가 모 두 높게 나타났으나 디테일함과 관련된 부분이 다소 부족한 것으로 분석됐다. (결론) 본 연구에서는 다양한 인터넷 바의 유형 중 에서 복합 인터넷 카페의 공간 디자인을 주요 연구의 대상으로 하였다. 복합 인터넷 카페의 공간디자인은 인터넷 공간, 휴게 교 류 공간, 일반 서비스 공간, 부가 업무 공간 4가지의 공간 구성요소들을 중심으로 진행해야 한다. 또한 공간편리성 설계에 관하여 물리적인 측면과 심리적인 측면이 함께 고려되어야 한다. 즉 편의성, 접근성, 가변성, 편안함, 쾌적함, 디테일함의 중요한 요소들 을 분석하고 이와 같은 분석을 바탕으로 중국 인터넷 바의 다양한 모델(e-sports형, 공공 문화 서비스 결합형, Internet cafe형 등)의 공간설계에 참고가 되었으면 한다.

영어초록

(Background and Purpose) In China, the PC-access shops knowns as variously named Internet bar have been popping up steadily since they were specialized and franchised. Accordingly, the spatial design of the Internet bar has also changed a lot to ensure the convenience of users. Internet bars in China are mainly composed of early Internet bars, Internet cafes, and composite Internet cafe types. However, there are still many inconveniences in the space utilization of Internet bars, so owners are receiving negative evaluations. This research starts from the point of human being as a base and proposes a new Internet space design program in line with China's situation that emphasizes convenience. It is hoped that the ideas will help improve future Internet Bars. (Method) The first step of the study was establishing a framework, which involved studying the comprehensive literature data and analyzing the definition and current status of Chinese Internet bars, as well as the components of Chinese Internet bar spaces: Internet spaces, relaxation exchange space, general commercial space, supplementary work space, etc. The study then examines the concept of convenience and space and analyzes the attribute elements of space convenience by combining the preceding articles. Examples of convenience elements cited are physical suitability, accessibility, variability, psychological comfort, rejoicing, and detail. Next, the study analyzed the typical Internet bar cases in China by combining the Internet bar space component and the space convenience property element analyzed above. (Results) As a result of analyzing the cases of composite Internet cafes in China, the Internet bar centered on e-sports, called “Wangjing”, showed the importance of convenience attributes as a whole, with comfort being the highest. In addition, the one that combines public cultural services, called “Wanggong”, showed that the factors of space convenience were generally common, but the variability was very high. In fact, the Internet cafe emphasizing casualness, called “Wangka”, was high in all elements of space convenience, but it was analyzed that there is a little lack of detail element. (Conclusions) Through this study, we analyzed the complex components of the Internet cafe that together can be known as space convenience design. Space design should center on four spatial components. The study analyzed the development direction of Internet bars in China and analyzed the spatial composition functions. The space convenience design was divided into physical and psychological aspects, and importance characteristics were analyzed: suitability, accessibility, variability, comfort, rejoicing, and detail. The study tried to refer to them for the development direction of spatial design of various models of Chinese Internet bars(e-sports oriented, Internet cafe, combining public services, etc.) based on this analysis.
