초록

In the constructional aspect of the Korean traditional costume and house, it has been pursued the simple beauty, and it has formative beauty but is closed, since the composite structure made from the background of the Korean society, creates the circular space of the multiple stage.Here the structure of the Korean traditional house is consisted with an original form where the artificial techniques are excluded, as it is seen all around the general formative aspects of our culture. It has no excessive decorations, but possesses substantial genuineness to the intrinsic nature, in addition to the open and plain beauty. Therefore, it is felt natural there and it is shown with the beauty friendly to the nature.The beauty of the expression is based on the nature and is similar to it, through borrowing the elements from it, but there exists the formative beauty of somewhat natural. It is expressed with the neatness, the simplicity applying the use of the material as exists in the nature, and the temperance of the simplicity without techniques. Accordingly, it has been confirmed, that the Korean traditional costume and house have a formative commonness having influence each other all the time, since they have mutual close relationship in the living.
