초록

본 연구는 소비자관점의 식품이력추적관리제도 연구에서 시작되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 소비자가 문자인식시스템을 활용하여 식품이력추적관리번호를 직접 입력하지 않고 이력정보를 조회할 수 있는 편리한 방법을 제시하는 데에 있다.
사회와 문화가 발달하면서 건강과 안전을 중요시하고 음식문화가 트렌드가 되는 현대인들에게 식품정보의 중요성은 점점 커지고 있다(양호승, 이은실, 2019).
식품정보는 개인의 건강과 행복에서부터 국민의 건강과 국가의 안전까지도 영향을 미치는 중요한 정보 분야로서 국가적 차원에서 법으로 규제하고 있다. 또한 소비자는 공급자와 달리 식품에 대한 경로를 알기 어렵기 때문에 식품의 경로를 알려주는 정보는 소비자에게 있어서 상당히 중요하다.
따라서 본 논문은 소비자 관점의 정보전달방법을 제시하고자 스마트폰을 활용하여 식품이력추적관리번호를 직접 입력하지 않아도 이력정보를 쉽게 제공받을 수 있는 정보전달방법을 실험을 통하여 시도하였다.
연구결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 식품이력추적관리번호를 문자인식시스템을 활용하여 텍스트화하였다. 둘째, 다양한 여러 숫자 조합으로 이루어진 식품이력추적관리번호를 직접 입력하지 않아도 이력정보를 조회할 수 있었다.
사용성 검사결과 문자인식시스템을 활용하여 조회하는 방식은 누구나 쉽게 조회할 수 있는 편리한 방법으로서 유의미하다는 것을 알게 되었다.
이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서 제안하는 문자인식시스템을 활용한 식품이력정보조회시스템 활용방안이 향후 식품안전과 국민건강에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영어초록

This study started with a study on the food traceability management system from a consumer's point of view. The purpose of this study is to suggest a convenient way for consumers to inquire history information without directly entering the food traceability management number by using an optical character recognition system As society and culture developed, the importance of food information is increasing for nowadays who value health and safety and food culture becomes a trend(Yang Ho-Seung, Lee Eun-Sil, 2019). Food information is an important information field that affects from personal health and happiness to public health and national safety, and is regulated by law at the national level. In addition, since it is difficult for the consumer to know the route to the food unlike the supplier, information indicating the route of the food is very important to the consumer.
Therefore, in order to present an information delivery method from a consumer's point of view, this paper tried an information delivery method that can easily receive history information without directly inputting a food traceability management number using a smartphone through an experiment.
The experimental results are as follows. First, the food traceability management number was converted into text using an optical character recognition system. Second, it was possible to inquire history information without directly entering the food traceability management number, which consists of a combination of various numbers.
As a result of usability analysis, it was found that the food history information inquiry method using the optical character recognition system is meaningful as a convenient method that anyone can inquire about history information without directly entering the food traceability management number.
Based on these research results, it is expected that the food history information inquiry system using the optical character recognition system proposed in this study will contribute to food safety and public health in the future.
