韓国語話者の韓国語カタカナ表記と「国語の仮名文字表記法」の比較研究 (A comparative study of Korean Katakana notation and "Japanese transcriptions in Korean" by Native Korean speakers)

초록

本稿の目的は、日本語学習者である韓国語話者が韓国語の単語を日本語のカタカナを利用して表記する際に、どのような表記様相を示すのかを調査して、それを韓国語のカタカナ表記の規則である「表記法」と比較することにある。そのために、三つの課題に関して調査を実施した。
　第一の課題では、韓国語話者が韓国語の単語をカタカナで表記する場合に、何らかの一定の表記傾向があるかどうかを明らかにしようとした。その結果、最も少ない表記の種類は4種類であり、最も多くの表記の種類を示した単語では35種類であった。
　第二の課題は、単語の文字数が増えれば増えるほど、カタカナ表記の種類も多くなるという仮定の下に、「表記法」との一致率がどのように変化するのかを調査した。その結果、二文字の単語では4~24種類の表記が見られ、一致率は15.56%であった。三文字の単語では6~32種類の表記が見られ、一致率は4.94%となった。四文字の単語では22~35種類の表記が見られ、一致率は1.21%であった。
　第三の課題では、日本語の能力水準と一致率の間に関係性があるかどうかを調べた。その結果、初級では8.97%となり、中級は7.69%となり、上級では8.50%になった。上級の一致率は初級よりも低い結果となり、日本語のレベルと一致率の間には関係がないことが分かった。

영어초록

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how Korean speakers, who are learners of Japanese, write Korean words using Japanese Katakana, and to compare this with "Japanese transcriptions in Korean" which can be determined as Korean Katanaka writing rules. For this purpose, I conducted research on three tasks.
　In the first task, we tried to find out if there is any certain tendency for native Korean speakers to write Korean words in Katakana. The result showed that the least number of notation types was 4, and the word that showed the most number of notation types was 35 among the 26 words used for the research.
　The second task was to investigate how the agreement rate with the "Japanese transcriptions in Korean" changed under the assumption that when the number of letters in a word increased, the number of Katakana notation types will increase too. As a result, for two-letter words, 4 to 24 different notations were found, and the agreement rate was 15.56%. For three-letter words, there were 6 to 32 types of notation, with an agreement rate of 4.94%. And, for four-letter words, 22 to 35 different notations were found, and the agreement rate was 1.21%.
　In the third task, I examined whether there was a relationship between the level of Japanese language proficiency and the agreement rate. The result showed that the agreement rate was 8.97% for the beginner level, 7.69% for the intermediate level, and 8.50% for the advanced level. The agreement rate for the advanced level was lower than that for the beginner level, indicating that there was no relationship between the level of Japanese and the agreement rate.
