권필 제술관(製述官) 시기의 차운시 연구 －明使와의 차운시를 중심으로－ (A Study on the Rhyme-Borrowing Poetry of Kwonpil Jesulgwan (envoysfor Ming) Period: Based on Rhyme-Borrowing Poetry composed with Ming ambassador)

초록

본고는 석주 권필의 제술관 시기 명 사신과의 차운시를 중심으로 하여 그 특징을 살핀 것이다. 권필은 1602･1606･1609년 세 차례 명 사신 접반을 위한 제술관에 발탁되었다. 권필의 세 차례 제술관 시기 명 사신과의 차운시는 18제 21수이며, 그 중 권필이 원접사를 代作한 작품이 9제 12수이다. 또한 『석주집』과 『황화집』의 비교 검토를 통하여 권필의 대작시를 추출하여 작가의 진위를 밝히고, 1609년의 제술관 참여 여부를 밝히고자 한다.
권필의 제술관 시기 명 사신과의 차운시의 특징을 세 가지로 분류하였다. 첫째, 文章華國과의례적 존명이다. 권필은 명 사신과의 차운시에서 상대의 시구를 섬세하고 때로는 대담한 표현으로 극찬하면서, 원작의 속박을 완전히 벗어나 자신의 詩才를 유감없이 발휘하였다. 둘째, 사적지를 통한 역사인식이다. 권필은 여러 차례의 전란에도 유구히 그 자리를 지켜온 사적지에 대한 역사의식을 행간에 나타내고자 하였다. 그는 원작과 부화뇌동하지 않고 최대한 자신의 내면의 역사의식을 투사하려하였다. 셋째, 도가적 탈속이다. 권필은 명 사신과 접반관이라는 이해관계를 배제하고 자연과 일체를 통한 도가적 의미를 표출하고자 하였다. 특유의 섬세함과 호방함으로 상대로 하여금 공감을 통한 감화를 이끌어 내는 표현적 특징에 중점을 두었다. 이 또한 자신감과 조선의 자존의식의 표출인 것이다.
권필의 명 사신과의 차운시는 절제된 정조를 통하여 쌍방의 긴밀한 연결고리를 형성하였다. 그리하여 원작의 뜻을 충실히 받아들이면서도 부화뇌동하지 않고 절묘한 시어와 어법을 구사하였다. 권필은 절묘한 시어를 통하여 공감과 동질감을 유발하여 상대에 대한 존중과 조선의 자존의식을 지키는데 중요한 역할을 하였다. 그리하여 그는 자신의 시재를 중국에 알리고, 17세기 외교문학의 일부분을 담당하였으며, 문학적 역량을 균형있게 발전시켜 당대 확고한 시인으로서의 위상을 재정립하였다.

영어초록

This thesis is about the characteristics of Rhyme-Borrowing Poetry which Kwon Pil collaborated with Ming ambassador when he was an envoys for Ming. Kwon Pil was selected as an envoys for 3 times - at the year 1602, 1606, 1609 - to greet Ming ambassadors. During the period, he composed 18th and 21nd poems with Ming ambassador. And he ghostwrite (Dae Jak - 代作) 9th and 12nd poems in behalf of other Chosun ambassadors. In addition, through a comparative review of 『Sukjujip』 and 『Hwanghwajip』, we will extract Kwonpil's masterpiece poems to clarify the author's authenticity, and to reveal whether he participated in the craftsmanship in 1609. The characteristics of Rhyme-Borrowing Poetry composed with Ming ambassador during the period of Kwon Pil's craftsmanship were classified into three categories. First, it is a shine the country with a sentence and a ritual honor for Ming . Kwon Pil praised the other's poems with delicate and sometimes bold expressions in a cool poem with Ming ambassador, completely freeing from the restraints of the original and exerting his poetric ability (Si Jae, 詩才) without regret. Second, it is historical recognition through historical sites. Kwon Pil tried to express the historical consciousness of the historic site that has maintained its place even after several wars between the poem's lines. He tried to project his inner sense of history as much as possible without blind following the original work. Third, it is a Taoist unconventionality. Kwon-pil tried to express the Taoist meaning through unity with nature, excluding the interests of the Ming ambassador and the envoys. The emphasis was placed on expressive features that elicit an influence through empathy from the other with its unique delicacy and friendliness. Rhyme- Borrowing Poetry collaborated with Ming ambassador of Kwon Pil formed a close connection between the two collaborators and restrained fidelity. Thus, while faithfully accepting the meaning of the original work, he used exquisite poem and grammar without blind following.
Kwon-pil played an important role in maintaining respect for the other person and self-esteem in Joseon by inducing empathy and homogeneity through exquisite poetic language. Thus, he was in charge of a part of diplomatic literature in the 17th century and reestablished his status as a solid poet at the time by developing his literary competence in a balanced manner.
