古代 東北亞 神話를 통해 考察한 東夷族의 “밝음”(明) 文化 (The Culture of "BRIGHTNESS"(明) by Dongi(東夷) tribe appearing in ancient legends of the North East Asia)

초록

21세기 현대의 지구촌 사회는 종교적 신념간의 갈등, 사회적 불평등 현상의 심화, 물적 가치 편향의 부작용, 환경오염과 자원 고갈 등으로 인하여 인격적이고 안정된 삶의 유지와 구현에 심각한 위협을 겪고 있다.
이를 극복하기 위한 진단과 처방으로 “지구 차원의 현 위기를 극복하기 위해서는 사회 진화에 있어서 모순과 투쟁을 지나치게 강조한 마르크스의 견해 보다는 동양 사상인 易經의 철학이 유용하다”는 물리학자 F. 카프라 교수의 지적과 “배타적인 서구의 논리에 의해 독점되어 온 기독교 메시지가 陰陽 원리인 동양적 사유에 의해 재해석 되어야 한다”는 신학자 이정용 박사의 주장은 경청할 만한 것으로, 이는 모두 동양 문명이 가지고 있는 사상적 본질로서의 “조화와 통합의 지혜”에 대한 기대감의 발로인 것이다.
동양문명의 발생과 기원이 중국의 황하 지역에 있지 않고, 동북아 지역을 토대로 하는 東夷族에 의한 동방 문화권에 근거한다는 주장은 이제 학계의 통설이 되고 있다.
이에 본 논문에서는 동양 문명의 기초가 되고 있는, 고대 동북아 사회의 이념과 사유 형식이 용해되어 있는 신화를 분석함으로써, 동양 문명을 개시한 고대 동북아 사회의 성격과 관심을 “밝음에 대한 자각”이라는 관점에서 정리해 본 것이다.
특히 동양 사상의 중심 역할이 儒學에 있고 유학의 철학적 지평이 易學에 있다는 점에서 동양 문명의 始原處인 동북아 지역에서 동양 사상의 精髓인 易思想이 기원했다는 것은 매우 자연스럽고 타당한 추측이며, 태초에 易을 지은 복희와 易사상의 철학적 체계를 완성한 孔子가 모두 동방 문화권의 주체인 동이족이라는 사실이 이를 증거하고 있다.
또한 주역에서 공자는 “역 사상이 싹튼 동북 지역에서 역의 이념이 완성된다는 점”을 명시하고 있는 사실은 동방 문화권에서 밝음의 사상인 역철학을 전개시킨 한민족에게 인류 문명을 개시했다는 자긍심과 함께 미래의 인류 사회에서 조화와 관용, 통합과 절제의 동양 사상을 완성하고 실천해야 할 책임과 사명도 아울러 주어져 있음을 분명하게 예언하고 있는 것이다.

영어초록

In modern global society of the 21st century, people are experiencing serious threat in maintenance and realization of humane and safe life due to conflicts between religious beliefs, deepening of phenomenon of social unfairness, adverse effect of inclination to materialistic value, and environment pollution and depletion of resources.
As a diagnosis and treatment for overcoming these, insistences of professor and physicist, F. Capra pointing out that "oriental ideology of philosophy of the Yi-King (易經-the Book of Changes) is more useful than opinions of Marx who had overemphasized contradiction and struggle in the evolution of the society for overcoming the current global crisis" and of a theologian, Dr. Lee, Jeong-Yong saying that "a christian message monopolized by an exclusive western logic shall be reinterpreted by oriental thinking of the principle of Yin and Yang (陰陽-the cosmic dual forces)" are worth to listen to carefully. These are all expressions for the expectation of "wisdom of harmony and integration" as ideological essence owned by the oriental civilization.
The insistence that occurrence and origination of the oriental civilization is not from Huanghe(黃河-Yellow River) region of China but is based on the Eastern culture by Dongi(東夷) tribe lived in the North East Asia region is now become a common opinion in the academic field.
So in this thesis, by analyzing legends with the permeation of ideology and thinking styles of ancient North Eastern Asia society which is the base of the oriental civilization, I have arranged the character and attention of ancient North East Asian society which had started the oriental civilization from the viewpoint of "self-awareness about brightness."
In particular, it is very natural and reasonable presumption that the ideology of the Yi-King, which is the essence of the oriental ideology, was originated from the North East Asian region, which is the starting point of the oriental civilization in a sense that a pivotal role of the oriental ideology is in Confucianism and the philosophical horizon of Confucianism is in the ideology of the Yi-King. And the facts that Bokhui who had made the ideology of the Yi-King and Confucius who had completed philosophical system of the ideology of the Yi-King were all Dongi tribe who was the main subject of the Eastern culture prove this.
Also, in the Book of Changes, the fact that Confucius had clearly indicated that "the ideology of the Yi-King will be completed in the North East region where the ideology of the Yi-King was originated" clearly predicts that the responsibility and mission to complete the oriental ideology with the principle of harmony & toleraiental iintegration & moderation in the future world of mankind are given to Korean people together with the pride of starting human civilization by Korean people who had deployed the philosophy of the Yi-King, which is the ideology of brightness, in the East cultural region.
