트레드밀 운동이 말초신경 손상 후재생기의 대식세포 형질변환 지표 및 신경근전도, 악력 및 매달리기 능력에 미치는 영향 (Treadmill exercise effect to the macrophage transformation markers, electromyography(EMG), grip strength and holding ability after the peripheral nerve injury)

초록

After the total cut and suture of mouse median nerve, nerve fibers distal to the lesion degenerate by the process known as Wallerian degeneration. Major role of Wallerian degeneration is removal of axonal and myelin-derived debris and prepares the environment for regenerating axons grow. For this process, macrophages are recruited in the injured area and clean up the lesion. Recently, researchers found that the subtype of macrophages were examined in the injured nerve area over a period of time. We investigate the effect of treadmill exercise to macrophage’s biomarker MCP1 expression level and it’s subtype biomarkers. To investigate the recruited macrophages, we did real time PCR experiments. Also to investigate the nerve regeneration, we did electromyography(EMG) analysis and behavior tests. We detected that treadmill exercise group have shown that the higher expression level of M2 type macrophage bio markers(Arg1, IL-10, Trem2). Also, it enhance the nerve regenerating signal(cMAP).
These results demonstrate that the treadmill exercise enhance the nerve regeneration by induce the recruitment of M2 type of macrophages in the nerve lesion.
