原三國∼三國時代竝行期 柯坪里類型 住居 硏究- 동해 송정동 유적을 중심으로 - (A Study on Gapyeong-ri Assemblage Dwelling of Proto-Three Kingdoms Period and Three Kingdoms Period)

초록

원삼국시대 중부지역은 양평과 이천을 경계로 중동부문화권과 중서부문화권으로 구분된다. 중동부문화권은 중도식무문토기, 타날문토기, 여·철자형주거에서 공통점을 보인다. 그러나 태백산맥을 기준으로 주거의 형태적 차이, 외줄구들과 부뚜막의 시설 유무, 분묘(적석분구묘)의 존재 여부 등으로 태백산맥 서쪽의 중도유형과 동쪽의 가평리유형으로 다시 세분할 수 있다.
가평리유형권에서 규모가 가장 크고, 지속기간이 길었던 것은 동해 송정동 유적이다. 따라서 동해지역 취락의 양상을 검토하여 가평리유형권 주거의 특징을 추출할 수 있다. 동해 송정동 유적은 AD 1C부터 AD 4C 중엽까지 장기간 점유된 취락 유적이다. 송정동 취락은 추정인구가 최대 14,106명에 달하는 점에서 가평리유형권에서 가장 큰 거점취락에 해당된다. 그리고 송정동 동해항만 B지구 1호 주거지는 주거의 위치, 규모, 출토유물 등으로 볼 때 당시 거점취락의 “渠帥住居”로 평가된다.
가평리유형권 형성기의 주거 형태는 전통적인 방형주거를 사용하였다. 이후 AD 1C 후반에 여·철자형주거가 등장하면서 주거의 평면형태가 다양해지고, 전통적인 점토대토기와 중도식무문토기가 혼재하여 사용된 것으로 보인다. AD 2C부터 AD 3C 전반까지는 낙랑계토기가 폭넓게 유통되면서 물질자료의 새로운 변화를 예견한다. 그러나 주거의 형태에 있어서 큰 차이는 발견되지 않는다. AD 3C 후반부터는 신라의 ‘조기양식토기’가 새롭게 유통된다. 그리고 AD 4C 부터는 호남 등 외부로부터 다양한 물질자료가 유통된다. 그런데 이 시기까지도 여·철자형주거에는 큰 변화가 확인되지 않는다. 그러나 AD 4C 후엽 아궁이식로가 등장하면서 주거의 후벽이 곡선화되고, AD 5C 전반에 부뚜막식이 채용되면서 후벽이 둔각상으로 변화하여 육각형의 평면형태로 발전한다. 따라서 새로운 노시설의 채용이 주거의 평면형태 변화를 수반하였다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 AD 5C 후반 신라의 방형 주거가 정착하면서 여·철자형주거는 점차 소멸된다. 이후 가평리유형 주거는 영남 동해안 및 내륙 지역으로도 확산되는데 울진, 울주, 영주 등지에서 확인된다. 한편, 가평리유형권 주거의 주축방향은 N7.82W∼N33.49W 사이에 분포하여 일정한 방향성(편서향)을 띠는 점이 특징이다.

영어초록

The central region of the Proto-Three Kingdoms Period is divided into Middle Eastern Culture Area and Middle West Culture Area, bordered by Yangpyeong(楊平) and Icheon(利川). The Middle Eastern Culture Area has a common point in Jungdo style plain pottery, Tanalmun(打捺文) pottery, and Yeo-cheol(呂·凸)'s character shaped dwelling. However, it can be subdivided into Joongdo Assemblage in the west and Gapyeong-ri Assemblage in the east of the Taebaek Mountains according to the difference of the dwelling types, tunnel-shaped heating system, kitchen range facilities, and tomb (stone-mount tomb) around Taebaek Mountains.
Donghae Songjeong-dong Site is the largest and has the longest duration in Gapyeong-ri Assemblage. Therefore, it is possible to extract the features of dwellings in Gapyeong-ri Assemblage by examining the aspects of settlements in the East Sea region. Donghae Songjeong-dong Site is the remains occupied for a long time from AD 1C to AD 4C. The settlement of Songjeong-dong goes for the largest in the Gapyeong-ri Assemblage with an estimated population of up to 14,106. And Donghae Port B District Residence 1 in Songjeong-dong is evaluated as “Dwelling of Geosu(渠帥住居)” of Hub Settlement at the time in terms of location, size, and excavated relics of dwelling Traditional Square-shaped Dwelling was used for the swelling type in the formative period of Gapyeong-ri Assemblage. And then, with the advent of Yeo-cheol(呂·凸)‘s character shaped Dwelling in the latter half of AD 1C, it seems that the plane shapes were diversified, and the traditional Clay-band Rim Pottery and Jungdo style plain pottery were mixed to use. As Nakrang-type pottery was widely distributed AD 2C to AD 3C, it was predicted new changes in materials. However, there was no significant difference found in the residence types. 'Silla Style Pottery' of Silla was newly distributed since the latter half of AD 3C. And then, from AD 4C, the various materials were distributed from outside such as Honam. Until this time, however, there was no significant change in Yeo-cheol(呂·凸)'s character shaped Dwelling. However, the back wall of the dwelling became curved with the advent of the furnace style stove after AD 4C, and as the wood-burning stove was adopted in the first half of AD 5C, the back wall was changed to an obtuse angle and developed into a hexagonal flat shape. Therefore, it can be seen that the adoption of a new stove facility was accompanied by the change of the plane form of the dwelling. However, as Silla's Square-shaped Dwelling settled in the second half of AD 5C, Yeo-cheol(呂·凸)'s character shaped Dwelling gradually disappeared. Since then, the dwellings of Gapyeong-ri Assemblage spread to the east sea and inland of Yeongnam, and were found in Uljin(蔚珍), Ulju(蔚州), and Yeongju(榮州). Meanwhile, the main axis direction of the Gapyeong-ri Assemblage dwelling is evenly distributed between N7.82W and N33.49W, characterized by a certain directionality (westerly direction).
