공간구문론을 이용한 헤이리 자하재 및 중국주택 공간 분석 연구 (A Study on the Space Analysis of Heyri JAHAJAE and CHINA HOUSE Using the Space Syntax Theory)

초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 최근 단독주택에서 주거 내부의 공간구성 계획도 중요하지만 주거내부공간과 외부공간이 어떻게 만나도록 구성되는가의 문제도 점차 중요해지고 있다. 주거내부공간과 외부공간을 하나의 프레임 또는 시스템 내에서 정리하고자 하는 시도들이 관찰되고 있다. 국내·외 두 가지 사례(자하재, 중국주택)의 비교 분석 연구를 통해 단독주택 계획시 시사점을 모색하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. (연구방법) 본 연구는 먼저 자하재(초기안, 최종안)와 중국주택에 대한 건축계획적인 분석을 하고, 공간구문론을 이용해 정량적으로 분석한 내용을 고찰한다. 공간 성격별(공동생활공간, 개인생활공간, 가사노동공간) 분석을 시도하고, ‘외부공간’의 지표값은 어떤 양상을 보이는지 비교 분석한다. (결과) 전체단위공간에 대한 공간구문론 각 지표 평균값을 비교해 보면, ‘자하재 최종안’의 단위공간수가 가장 많으나 통합도 평균값은 가장 높게 나타나 전체 공간의 접근성 정도는 가장 높게 나타났다. 그러나, 연결도와 명료도는 ‘중국주택’이 가장 높게 나타났다. 외부공간만 따로 분석해 보면, 연결도는 ’중국주택‘이 가장 높으나, 통제도는 ’자하재 초기안‘이 가장 높고, 통합도는 ’자하재 최종안‘이 가장 높게 나타났다. (결론) 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 자하재에서는 주거내부공간들의 연결은 실과 실 사이 복도공간들에 의해 연결되고 있고 외부공간들은 서로 중첩되어 실과 실이 직접 연결되는 구성방식을 취하고 있으나, 중국주택에서는 내부공간들과 외부공간들 모두 실과 실이 직접 연결되는 형식으로 계획되어져 있다. 자하재 초기안과 최종안 모두 통합도 값이 중국주택 보다 높지만, 공간의 명료도 측면에서는 중국주택이 현저하게 높게 나타난 것으로 볼 때, 복도 공간 없이 실(room)과 실(room)이 직접 연결되는 공간구성의 경우에도 충분한 개구부 계획으로 실(room)과 실(room) 사이의 연결도를 높인다면 명료도를 충분히 높일 수 있는 계획이 가능함을 알 수 있다.

영어초록

(Background and Purpose) Recently, planning the spatial composition of a house interior has been a very important matter in single dwellings, but the problem of how the interior and the exterior spaces meet is also becoming increasingly important. Attempts to organize the inside and the outside the home space in one frame or system have been observed. The purpose of this study is to explore the implications of the single house plan through a comparative analysis of two cases: Jahajae and China House. (Method) In this study, the first analyzes the architectural plan of Jahajae (initial plan, and final plan) and China House and examines the content of the quantitative analysis using the space syntax theory. This study attempts to analyze “interior space,” based on spatial characteristics (common living space, personal living space, and household work space), and the comparison of these index values with the index value of the “exterior space.” (Results) When comparing the average values of each index of the space syntax in terms of total unit space, the unit space in the “final plan of Jahajae” was the highest, and, as the average value of integration was also the highest, accessibility of the whole space turned out to be the highest in Jahajae. Nevertheless, in terms of the connectivity and intelligibility, China House had the highest values. When analyzing only the exterior space separately, connectivity was the highest in China House, but in control value, the “initial plan of Jahajae” was the highest, and in integration, the “final plan of Jahajae” was the highest. (Conclusions) The conclusions of this study are as follows. In Jahajae, the interior spaces of the house are connected by the rooms and corridor spaces between the each rooms, and the exterior spaces of the house which overlap and take the form of direct connection between the rooms. However, in China House, both the interior and exterior spaces of the house are planned in a form that provides direct connection between the rooms. While the integration values of both the initial and final plans of Jahajae are higher than those of China House, given that China House is significantly higher in terms of space intelligibility, a plan that could enhance intelligibility sufficiently would be possible if the connectivity between the rooms is enhanced with an adequate entrance plan, even a spatial composition in which rooms are directly connected without a corridor space.
