르 코르뷔지에의 박람회 파빌리온 건축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Exposition Pavillion Architecture by Le Corbusier)

초록

As one of the great masters of modern architecture, Le Corbusier had designed many exposition pavilions. According to the characteristics of exposition architecture, the pavilion architecture contains a strong message from the architect. An analysis of the case and characteristics of Le Corbusier's exposition pavilion architectural work were conducted. As a result of this research, Corbusier's pavilion architecture more clearly contains his architectural views and architectural experiments due to the nature of the exposition architecture. Through the Esprit Nouveau Pavilion and the Nestlé Pavilion, which embody the new spirit of architecture, the design principles and dogmatic beliefs that establish the relationship between the form and function of modern architecture are shown. And as Le Corbusier's new ideal, the utopian imagination that can be realized through architecture is shown through the Bat’a Pavilion and the Ideal Home Pavilion. And the formative potentialty of the new technologies, materials, and methods conceived by modern architecture is being realized through the Liége Pavilion and the Philips Pavilion through hyperbolic methods and technologies. In addition, Le Corbusier shows the spirit of modern architecture, the utopian imagination of architecture, and the potentialty of new hyperbolic technology as an exhibition object in each pavilion project according to the period, and Corbusier shows his own orientation as a strong and clear architectural message. It showed the typical form of Corbusian Pavilion. Through the case analysis of pavilion architecture containing individualized architectural concepts for each period, it shows the accumulation of the architect's own architectural thoughts, maturation of architectural desires, and changes in architectural paradigm according to social changes and changes in personal life.
