산조가야금의 오선 악보에 나타난 조현법에 관한 연구- 성금련류 산조 악보와 음악 교과서를 중심으로 (Study on the Stave Music Notation of Sanjo Gayageum - focusing on Gayageum Sanjo scores and accordaturas described in music textbooks)

초록

산조가야금은 1959년 대학에 국악과가 생기면서 악보의 필요성이 대두되어 오선 기보가 이루어졌다. 그 이후 채보자에 따라 그 기준을 달리하여 여러 종류의 악보가 생겨났다. 본 연구자는 기존의 가야금 산조 악보에 나타나는 조현법을 고찰하고 유형에 따른 장단점을 분석하여 음악교과서에 나타나는 조현법의 사례와의 관련성을 연구하여 교육에 적용하게에 바람직한 방향을 모색하였다.
기존의 가야금 산조 악보에 나타난 조현법은 6가지 유형이고, 음악교과서에 나타난 조현법은 3가지 사례이다. 음악교과서에 나타나는 조현법 사례 1은 높은음자리표에 제 6현인 ‘징’의 조현을 <g'>로 하고 구음을 같이 표기하여 산조가야금의 실음보다 5도 위로 기록되어 있고, 이는 기존의 가야금 산조 악보에 나타난 조현법 유형 1과 같은 형태이다. 음악교과서에 나타나는 조현법 사례 2는 높은음자리표에 제 6현인 ‘징’을 <g'>에 맞추고 구음과 함께 계이름 그리고 음역을 함께 표시하였으며, 이는 기존의 가야금 산조 악보에 나타난 조현법 유형1과 유사한 형태이다. 음악교과서에 나타나는 조현법 사례 3은 올림표인 조표를 하나 붙이고 제 6현인 ‘징’을 <g'>에 맞추어 실음보다 5도 위로 오선보에 음을 기록하고, 음 구조는 실음처럼 기록하였고, 이는 기존의 가야금 산조 악보에 나타난 조현법 유형2와 같은 형태이다.
음악교과서에 나타난 사례는 학습자가 악보를 쉽게 읽을 수 있는 편의 기보이다. 이는 비록 실음과 다른 기보로 인한 혼동을 야기할 수 있으나 그 편리성이나 처음 오선보에 가야금 산조가 기록된 이후 오랫동안 상용되어 온 기보이기에 교육에도 이를 적용하는 것이 바람직하다. 다만 이를 보완하기 위해 산조가야금의 음높이와 줄 이름을 나타내 주는 구음과 줄 번호를 함께 기록하여 실음과 다른 혼동을 최소화할 필요가 있다.

영어초록

With the department of Traditional Korean Music first established in college in the year of 1959, needs for Sanjo Gayageum scores were considered which, in the end, created the stave scores. Since then, depending on music writers who would work on different standards to each other when they try to write music, a variety of scores have been introduced. In that regard, the responsible researcher of the concerned study investigated accordaturas in the current Gayageum Sanjo scores and other accordaturas in the music textbooks at middle school as well and discussed an accordatura which would be determined proper enough to be applied to education.
In the current Gayageum Sanjo scores, there are found a total of six accordaturas with three other accordaturas described in the music textbooks. The first accordatura in the textbooks determines 'Zing', the 6th string, as <g'> on the G clef with an oral sound of the string provided. In the concerned accordatura, this string is considered to be higher than the actual note by five chords, and that agrees to the other first accordatura in the current Gayageum Sanjo scores. Accordatura 2 in the music textbooks sets 'Zing', the 6th string, onto <g'> on the G clef and includes the oral sound, the syllable name as well as the range of the note, which is all considered similar to the first accordatura in the current Gayageum Sanjo scores. The third accordatura in the music textbooks adds a key signature, a sharp, and sets the 6th string, 'Zing', onto <g'>. That way, this third accordatura places the 6th string on the stave by five chords higher than the actual note but with the note structure described exactly as the actual note. That is believed to be the same form to that of Accordatura 2 in the current Gayageum Sanjo scores.
All those accordaturas in the music textbooks have presented the note by five chords higher than the actual note because they want to help learners to read the scores more easily. However, the scores which are written differently from the actual notes might cause either confusion or other problems so in that regard, the scores in the music textbooks should work on the actual notes. Based on the findings of the study, when it comes to teaching Sanjo Gayageum, it is determined to be proper to teach the learners with the accordatura by the actual notes.
