둥당애타령류의 교과서 수록의 문제와 교육적 지도방안 (Problems with collecting textbooks of Dongdangae folksongs and educational improvement suggestion)

초록

현행 교과서에는 <둥당애타령>류 중에서 <둥당애타령>과 <둥당기타령>이 제시되어 있는데, 이 중 <둥당기타령>은 민요의 전승적인 측면에서 보편성을 고려했을 때 교과서에 수록할 때 신중할 필요가 있으며 <둥당애타령>을 교과서에 제시하는 것이 더 바람직해 보인다. 육자배기토리의 시김새 제시는 현행 교과서에 조금씩 다르게 제시되어 있어 통일성 있게 제시되어야 한다. <둥당애타령>의 하행선율의 구성음은 민요의 현장과 다른 모습을 보이므로 개선이 필요해 보인다. <둥당애타령>류의 시김새 및 구성음을 지도할 때에는 전체적인 문화적 접근으로 학생들의 공감을 이끈 후 지도하는 방안을 제안하였다.
첫째, 교과서에 <둥당애타령>류는 2가지 각편이 제시가 되고 있는데 전남 신안지역의 <둥당애타령>과 익산목발노래의 <둥당기타령>이다. 연구에 의하면 익산목발노래의 <둥당기타령>은 예전부터 익산지역에서 전승된 민요로 보기에 다소 어려움이 있으므로 교과서에 제시하는 것은 신중할 필요가 있다. 그리고 민요의 전승면에서 보았을 때 <둥당애타령>이 훨씬 많은 각편으로 전승되고 있으므로 <둥당애타령>을 대표 악곡으로 수록하는 것이 바람직해 보인다.

영어초록

Among <Dungdangae Taryeong> and <Dungdanggi Taryeong>, the two names for the <Dungdangae Taryeong> genre introduced in the current textbooks, there is a need to carefully consider the universality from the folkloric aspect of folk songs when including the name <Dungdanggi Taryeong>, and the name <Dungdangae Taryeong> should be used as a uniform term in textbooks. In addition, the sigimsae of yukjabaegi-tori needs to be introduced uniformly in each textbook. Furthermore, the compositions of the descending melody of the <Dungdangae Taryeong> need to be improved because they display characteristics that differ from the field of the folk songs. When teaching the main sigimsae and compositions of the <Dungdangae Taryeong> genre, it is suggested to first make students sympathize through the overall cultural approach and then provide education.
First, the <Dungdangae Taryeong> of Sinan, Jeollanam-do and the <Dungdanggi Taryeong> of Iksan Mobalnorae are two alternative versions of the <Dungdangae Taryeong> genre introduced in textbooks. According to the study, careful considerations should be made when introducing the <Dungdanggi Taryeong> of Iksan Mobalnorae in the textbooks as it is quite difficult to see it as a folk song that has been passed down from the Iksan area. From the folkloric aspect of the folk song, it seems desirable to include the <Dungdangae Taryeong> as the representative musical piece because it is being passed down in many various alternative versions.
Second, among textbooks that included the <Dungdanggi Taryeong> genre, there were a total of six types of music textbooks from the 2009 curriculum and five types of music textbooks from the 2015 curriculum. There is a need to introduce the sigimsae uniformly as there are cases in which it is introduced differently in each textbook. In addition, the compositions of the descending melody of the <Dungdangae Taryeong> need improvement as they are introduced as Mi, La, and Ti in the current textbooks although they appear to be closer to Mi, Ra, Ti, and Do in fields where the folk songs are sung.
Third, when it comes to teaching the sigimsae and the compositions of <Dungdangae Taryeong>, providing materials for cultural empathy and facilitating students experience through physical activities or the five senses is considered to be effective.
