초록

이 연구는 몇몇 의궤류에 나타나는 고건축 어휘의 차자 표기를 올바르게 해독하는 문제와 표준적인 건축 용어 선정에 관한 문제를 아울러 고려하여 쓴 것이다. 또한 차자 표기 중 하나의 표기를 마치 고유어 건축 어휘에 대응하는 한자 표기로 처리한 것에 관한 문제도 함께 논의하였다.
의궤류에 쓰인 고건축 어휘에 관한 연구는 크게 고건축학계와 국어학계에서 진행해왔는데, 고건축학계의 연구는 차자 표기 해독에 많은 문제가 있었다. 심지어는 이러한 것이 사전류에 반영되는 경우가 많았다. 또한 국어학계에서는 고건축학계의 연구를 참고하는 경우가 많은데, 고건축학계에서는 국어학계의 연구를 참고하는 경우가 많지 않은 듯하다. 더욱이 근래에 의궤류 국역집이 많이 간행되고 있는데, 차자 표기 해독과 해석에 많은 오류가 나타나고 있는 것은 문제다.
예를 들면 ‘○○具’의 ‘具’를 ‘鐵物’로 잘못 해석하는 경우가 있다. 또한 ‘衝栿’과 ‘衝樑’은 ‘충보’의 차자 표기임에도 불구하고, 그냥 ‘충복’과 ‘충량’으로 읽어버리고 있다. 심지어는 고건축사전과 국어사전에도 ‘衝樑’을 ‘충보’의 차자 표기로 보지 않고, 그냥 ‘충량’이라 하고 있다. 더욱이 ‘衝樑’은 ‘충보’의 차자 표기 중 하나일 뿐인데, 마치 ‘충보’에 대응하는 한자어로 등재한 것은 잘못이다.
차자 표기 目只ㆍ木妓ㆍ方只ㆍ某叱只ㆍ毛只ㆍ隅只ㆍ隅叱只ㆍ木只 등으로 표기된 부재가 있는데, 이것은 모두 ‘*모>모끼’의 차자 표기인데도, 고건축 어휘 사전이나 국어사전에서는 ‘목지’라 한 경우가 많다. 더욱이 ‘木只’는 ‘*모>모끼’의 차자 표기 중 하나일 뿐인데, 마치 현대국어 ‘모끼’에 대응하는 한자어로 등재한 것은 잘못이다.
이 연구에서는 이와 같이 잘못 해독하고 있는 어휘와 건축 용어 선정의 잘못 등에 대하여 논의하였다.

영어초록

This study discussed about problems to detoxify justly a system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters of the olden architectural vocabulary which appeared to a few class of UiGwe. Problem regarding the architectural terminology selection which was standard too discussed. And problem regarding having dealt with one notation by Chinese character notation corresponding to an as if a native tongue architectural vocabulary during system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters discussed.
The study regarding a olden architectural vocabulary to have been used for to a class of UiGwe has progressed greatly at an learned circles of olden architecture and learned circles of Korean languages. By the way, the study of an learned circles of olden architecture there were a lot of problems to system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters decoding. These things were reflected even to a class of dictionary, and had a lot of cases. Also, there are a lot of cases to refer to study of an learned circles of olden architecture at learned circles of Korean languages. By the way, there do not seem to be a lot of cases to refer to study of a learned circles of Korean languages at learned circles of olden architectures. Moreover, it is a problem that these days a lot of errors are given to system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters decoding and interpretation for a class of UiGwe series of translated into Korean to be published very much.
For example, there is a case to interpret wrong into ‘具[Gu: have]’ of ‘○○具[○○Gu]’ to ‘鐵物類 語彙(metal fittings vocabulary)’. Also, ‘衝栿’ and ‘衝樑’ is in spite of system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters of ‘충보[ChungBo]’, and has read just to ‘충복[ChungBok]’ and ‘충량[ChungRyang]’. Do not see ‘衝樑’ to a system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters of ‘ChungBo’ in olden architectural dictionary and native language dictionary, and the center is just ‘충량[ChungRyang]’ be making. Moreover, ‘衝樑’ having registered a word written in Chinese characters corresponding to as if ‘충보[ChungBo]’ to be one during system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters of ‘충보[ChungBo]’ in wrong.
There is the timber which ‘目只ㆍ木妓ㆍ方只ㆍ某叱只ㆍ毛只ㆍ隅只ㆍ隅叱只ㆍ木只’ to a system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters. However, this is all a system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters of ‘*모(Mokki)>모끼(Mokki)’. Nonetheless have a lot of cases to have done that are ‘목지[MokJi]’ at a olden architectural vocabulary dictionary or native language dictionaries. Moreover, ‘木只’ is one during system of transcribing Korean words into Chinese characters of ‘*모(Mokki)>모끼(Mokki)’. By the way, what as if registered into a word written in Chinese character corresponding to modern native language ‘모끼[MoKki]’ wrong.
Thus, discussed about mistakes of the vocabulary and architectural terminology selection which were counteracting wrong the poison etc. in this study.
