문화적 체육교육론 서설 (Introduction to the Theory of Cultural Physical Education)

초록

본 연구는 체육을 지탱해 온 두 갈래 체육교육론인 ‘과학적 체육교육론’과 ‘인문적 체육교육론’에 제기된 문제를 해결하고 그 대안으로 체육의 문화적 의미와 가치를 기반으로 한 ‘문화적 체육교육론’을 제안함으로써체육교육의 발전을 도모하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 과학적 체육교육론과 인문적 체육교육론의 목적, 내용, 방법, 기여 및 문제점을 살펴보고, 두 체육교육론에 대한 스포츠교육학 분야의 논의와 한계를 살펴 본 후 대안으로 문화적 체육교육론이 필요함을 제안하였다. 문화적 체육교육론의교육 목적으로는 오우크쇼트의 전통, 맥킨타이어의 Practice(사회적 실제), 허스트의 사회적 실제에의 입문으로서의 교육, 들뢰즈의 리좀적 지식을 바탕으로 체육 문화에의 입문을 통한 전인교육의 실현을 제시하였다. 교육 내용으로는 7가지 내용 영역으로 명제적 내용, 서사적 이야기, 기능, 덕, 스타일, 판단, 제도를 제시하였다. 교육 방법으로는 오우크쇼트의 교수와 전수, 들뢰즈의 배움론, 비고츠키의 근접발달영역 이론을제시하였으며, 보다 구체적인 교육 방법으로는 하나로 수업모형의 형태를 취하되 교육 내용으로 직접체험활동과 간접체험활동 대신 7가지 내용 영역으로의 변화를 제시하였다. 또한 학생을 체육문화에 입문시키기위해 다양한 체육수업모형과 교수·학습 전략을 창의적으로 활용할 것도 제안하였다. 본 연구는 문화적 체육교육론에 대한 서설의 의미를 갖는다. 아직 문화적 체육교육론에 대해 완전무결하고 온전한 체계를 갖추지는 못하였지만 본 연구를 통해 스포츠교육학 분야에 새로운 화두를 던지고자 한다.

영어초록

This study purpose to promote the development of physical education by solving problems raised in the two theories of physical education, ‘scientific physical education theory’ and ‘humanities oriented physical education theory’, which have supported physical education, and proposing ‘cultural physical education theory’ based on the cultural meaning and value of sports as an alternative. To achieve this purpose, we explore the objectives, content, methods, contributions, and problems of scientific physical education theory and humanities oriented physical education theory, and explore discussions and limitations in the field of sports pedagogy on the two physical education theories. And as an alternative, it was proposed that the theory of cultural physical education theory is necessary. The educational purposes of cultural physical education theory suggested the realization of whole person education through introduction to physical culture, it based on the tradition of Oakeshott’s, the practice of MacIntyre’s, education as an introduction to the practice of Hirst’s, and the rhizome knowledge of Deleuze’s. And the contents of education are presented with seven areas, including the propositional content, narrative story, skills, virtue, style, decision, and the system. The educational methodologies suggested teaching and transfer of Oakeshott’s, learning theory of Deleuze’s, ZPD(Zone of Proximal Development) of Vygotsky’s. And More specifically seven areas are presented with the contents of education of the seven areas instead of direct and indirect activities while taking the form of a Hanaro teaching model. It was also proposed to creatively utilize various instructional models for physical education and teaching and learning strategies to help students introduction the physical culture. This study carries the meaning of introducing the theory of cultural physical education. Although the theory of cultural physical education is yet to come up with a system of complete integrity, this study seeks to bring a new topic to the sports pedagogy field.
