초록

본고는 한국선도의 대표적 존재론인 ‘일·삼·구론(삼원오행론)’에 나타난 존재의 생성·회귀론을 고찰하되 유독 회귀가 가능한 존재인 ‘사람’의 회귀 문제에 초점을 맞추어 이를 한국선도의 수행 이론으로 정리해낸 연구이다.
『천부경』·『삼일신고』 ‘일·삼·구론’에서는 존재의 본질인 ‘一(三), 一氣(三氣), 삼신하느님’이 9차원(九氣)으로 전변, 현상화하는 존재 생성의 과정을 설명하는데 이는 天(정보 또는 無·空)·人(기에너지)·地(질료) 三氣의 9단계에 걸친 저급화의 의미를 담고 있다.
伏羲의 ‘八卦·河圖’를 통해 ‘일·삼·구론’을 도상으로 이해할 때 9차원의 생성 과정이 더욱 선명하게 드러나게 된다. 중국 상수학에서 ‘팔괘·하도’가 음양오행론으로 해석되고 형태적으로도 원형으로 이해되었던 것과 달리 한국선도에서는 ‘일·삼·구론’으로 해석되고 형태 면에서도 ‘중심점을 기준으로 두 수평원과 두 수직원이 교차하는 입체형’으로 이해된다.
『천부경』·『삼일신고』 ‘일·삼·구론’은 『부도지』에서 ‘삼원오행론(‘氣·火·水·土·天符論’)으로 설명되는데, 『부도지』의 방식은 『천부경』·『삼일신고』의 생성 과정을 새로운 각도에서 해석함으로써 중국의 음양오행적 생성론과의 차이를 더욱 선명하게 드러내어 준다.
‘일·삼·구론(삼원오행론)’에는 비단 존재의 ‘생성’ 과정 뿐아니라 그 과정을 거슬러 오르는 ‘회귀’ 과정까지 설명되고 있다. 『천부경』·『삼일신고』의 ‘일·삼·구론’에서는 오직 ‘사람’만이 존재의 회귀가 가능하다고 보는데, 그 회귀의 과정은 9단계 생성 과정을 거슬러 오르는 과정으로 저급화한 기의 진화라는 의미를 담고 있다.
『천부경』·『삼일신고』 ‘일·삼·구론’에서는 사람의 존재적 회귀를 위한 구체적 방법으로 ‘성통(수행) → 공완(실천) → 조천(회귀)’ 삼단계를 제시하며, 『부도지』의 ‘삼원오행론‘에서는 ‘復本’을 제시한다. ‘복본’이란 ‘사람의 상·중·하 삼단전의 천·인·지 삼원의 근본 상태(本, 天符)를 회복한다(復)’는 의미이다. 한국선도 관련 경전 및 사서들에 면면히 흐르고 있는 ‘인간의 존재적 회귀’에 대한 강렬한 지향을 엿볼 수 있다.

영어초록

This thesis is on the theory of creation and revolution of being in the theory of One-Three-Nine〔一·三·九論, the theory of the five natural elements of the three dimensions(三元五行論)〕, the typical ontology of Korean Sundo(韓國仙道). Especially It focuses on the revolution of human because only human is considered to be able to revolve. So this thesis is also on the discipline theory of Korean Sundo.
In the theory of One-Three-Nine of 『Chunbu-kyung天符經』 and 『Samil-singo三一誥』, One(Three)〔 One Ki氣(Three Ki: Chun天(Information or Naught無·空), Ji地(Material) and In人(Energy, Ki氣)〕, the substance of being mutates to Nine Ki and creates the phenomena. This creation process means the nine-grade deteriorations of three Ki, Chun天·Ji地·In人.
When we consider the theory of One-Three-Nine as figure through Bokhee(伏羲)'s 'Pal-kye(八卦) and Hado(河圖)', the figure of it is recognized as the solid shape with the crossing two level circles and two vertical circles. On the other hand in Chinese tradition, 'Pal-kye and Hado' is interpretated as the theory of the five natural elements of Yin and Yang(陰陽五行論) and the plane circle shape.
The theory of One-Three-Nine of 『Chunbu-kyung』 and 『Samil-singo』 is the same as the theory of the five natural elements of the three dimensions of 『Budoji(符都誌)』. The theory of 『Budoji』 makes up for the theory of 『Chunbu-kyung』 and 『Samil-singo』 more abundantly with new viewpoints.
In the theory of One-Three-Nine, there are not only 'the creation process' but also 'the revolution process' of being. Only human is considered to be able to revolve. And the revolution process of human is the contrary process of the creation. This process means the nine-grade evolutions of three Ki, Chun天·Ji地·In人.
In the theory of One-Three-Nine of 『Chunbu-kyung』 and 『Samil-singo』, the three-grade discipline of 'Sungtong(性通, awakening) → Kongwan(功完, practice of awakening) → Jochun(朝天, revolution to the origin)' is presented as the revolution method. Also in the theory of the five natural elements of the three dimensions of 『Budoji』, the notion of 'Pokbon(復本, revolution to the origin)' is presented. 'Pokbon' means the revolution to the original state of Chun天·Ji地·In人 in the three hypogastric center(丹田) of human body. With these theories, we can understand the strong intention to the revolution to the origin that is universal in the scripture and history of Korean Sundo.
