‘청주아리랑’의 다큐멘터리 제작 사례를 통한 아카이브 구축의 방향성 연구 (A Study on documentary production instance of ‘Ch’ongju Arirang’archive directivity research of construction)

초록

‘청주아리랑’은 중국 길림성 연변조선족자치주 도문시 양수진 정암촌에서
전승되고 있는 충북의 전통민요이다. ‘청주아리랑’소재의 특집 다큐멘터리
제작(2000년)을 시발로, 충북을 중심으로 한 문화산업의 현장에서 출판, 음
반, 연극 등의 콘텐츠들이 창출되고 있다. 그러나 보다 다양한 형태, 보다 다
양한 내용의‘청주아리랑’파생콘텐츠를 더 이상 기대할 수 없다.‘ 청주아리
랑’아카이브 구축의 부재에 따른‘스토리의 한계’에 직면해 있기 때문이다.
물론‘청주아리랑’아카이브 구축이 전혀 이루어지지 않은 것은 아니다. ‘청
주아리랑’을 만주지역에서 처음 발견한 이래, 인문학 분야의 연구자들이나
문화산업 분야의 전문가들이 관련 자료를 속속 집적하였다. 그러나 어떤 체
계적인 기준에 의해 텍스트는 물론 컨텍스트까지 포괄한 조사·정리는 아직
까지 이루어지지 않았다. 따라서 순수학술 분야에서나 문화산업 분야에서
‘청주아리랑’의 후속 연구 및 파생콘텐츠 창출이 용이하지 않다.
결국‘청주아리랑’아카이브 구축이 절실한 화두가 될 수밖에 없다. ‘청
주아리랑’아카이브 구축은 텍스트보다 그것에 대한 전승 주체의 인식을 포
함하여 전승의 맥락을 고려하는 구술사 중심의 컨텍스트에 초점을 맞추어
야 한다. 그래야 서사와 동시에 시각적·청각적 이미지와 같은 오감을 충족
시킬 수 있는 입체적인 아카이브를 구축할 수 있다. 그리고 아카이브 구축
을 위한 조사 및 정리단계에서는 반드시 세부적인 분류 방안을 모색해야 한
다. 세부적인 분류 방안은‘청주아리랑’의 전승 주체로서 정암촌 사람들이
절감했던 근·현대사의 질곡에 초점을 맞추어‘청주아리랑’의 이주, 정착,
침체, 재생, 단절 과정에 따른 단계별 모색이 타당하다. 그래야‘청주아리
랑’의 전승과 변화를 사회학적 관점에서 해명할 수 있으며, 전승의 의미와
가치를 충실하게 도출할 수 있다. 이러한 작업이 이루어졌을 때, 이를 원형
의 창작소재로 활용한 보다 다양한 형태, 보다 다양한 내용의 파생콘텐츠
창출이 가능할 것이다.

‘Ch’ongju Arirang’China which is traditional folk song of the
Chung Buk where it is winning a victory from the small town.
‘Ch’ongju Arirang’special issue documentary production of
subject matter with start, in the center publish the Chung-Buk,
the contentses of the record and the play back are created from
site of one culture industry. But the form which is more various,
‘Ch’ongju Arirang’of the contents which is more various it will
not be able to expect the derivative contents. What it is because
is confronting in limit of the talk which it sees. Of course ‘Ch’
ongju Arirang’archive the fact that the construction does not
become accomplished entirely. Only ‘Ch’ongju Arirang’since
then which it discovers initially from widely known reverse, the
researcher of the literature field which is it admits but the
specialists of culture industry sector accumulated a pertinent
data one after another. By a what kind of system standard but
text of course khen until text inclusion one investigation
arrangement it did not become accomplished so far. Consequently
from pure scientific field or the succeeding research and
derivation contents creation of‘ Ch’ongju Arirang’ease do not do
