초록

본고는 17~19세기에 연경을 읊은 조･청 죽지사의 대표작인 김진수의 「연경잡영」과 득여의 「도문죽지사」･「경도죽지사」를 비교 고찰한 연구이다. 김진수는 조선의 중인계층의 문인으로 1832년 수행원의 신분으로 연경에 다녀왔다. 그는 청의 풍물과 실정을 깊이 있게 통찰하여 북경의 번화함과 장려함을 314수의 연작시 「연경잡영」 속에 핍진하고 생생하게 담아내었다. 득여는 북경 출신의 문인으로서 북경의 풍토와 습속을 기록하려는 의도에서 1814년쯤에 「도문죽지사」를 창작하였고, 1817년쯤에는 「경도죽지사」를 창작하였다.
2장에서는 두 시인의 연경 죽지사의 창작 동기와 소재적 특징을 살펴보았고, 3장에서는 표현수법과 운율미의 특징을 중심으로 구체적인 작품 분석을 행하였다. 「연경잡영」은 표현수법에 있어서 난해한 시어, 다양한 전고와 수사법을 활용하여 서곤체의 특징을 지니고 있고, 운율미에 있어서 한유의 독특한 용운법을 본떠서 방운과 험운을 활용하는 기이함을 추구하였다. 이에 비해 「도문죽지사」와 「경도죽지사」는 표현수법에 있어서 이해하기 쉬운 구어체, 북경 방언의 얼화음과 직설법을 사용하고 있고, 운율미에 있어서 첩어와 반복법을 애용함으로써 특유의 리듬감으로 민간가요의 음악적인 성격을 부각시키고 있음이 특징적이다.
4장에서는 맺음말을 대신하여 두 시인 작품의 죽지사적 특징을 비교 검토하고, 문학사적 의미를 간략히 살펴보았다. 「연경잡영」은 소재와 형식면에서 죽지사적 면모를 지니고 있으면서도 시법에 있어서는 전통 문인시의 성격을 지니고 있어 광의적 죽지사에 가까운 것으로 보인다. 이에 비해 「도문죽지사」와 「경도죽지사」는 소재와 형식면에서 죽지사의 전통을 분명히 계승하면서 민간 친화적 성격과 통속성을 띄고 있기에 협의적 죽지사의 면모를 지니고 있는 것으로 확인된다. 「연경잡영」은 죽지사류 작품의 특징적인 면모를 보여준다는 점에서 조선 죽지사의 독자성을 보여주고 있고, 「도문죽지사」와 「경도죽지사」는 죽지사와 지방지의 성격을 겸하고 있다는 데에서 특징을 찾을 수 있다.

영어초록

The dissertation is a comparative research on the differences between the representative works of Joseon and Qing Dynasty’s ZhuZhi poems which are devoted to praising Yeonching in the 17th and 19th centuries. As a member of intermediate stratum in the Joseon Dynasty, Kim Jinsu visited Yeonching, which is called Yeonhaeng in 1832. He developed a deep understanding of the local conditions and customs of the Qing Dynasty, and vividly capturethd e prosperity and splendor of Beijing in a series of 314 poems, Yeonching Miscellaneous poems. De Yu, a poet living in Yeonching in the Qing Dynasty of China, with the intention to record the climate and customs of Beijing, composed DuMenZhuZhi poems in about 1814 and JingDuZhuZhi poems in about 1817.
In Chapter 2, the two poets’ creation of YeonchingZhuZhi poems, their formal characteristics, and main themes were briefly reviewed. In Chapter 3, conducted a detailed analysis of their works, focusing on the expressive techniques and the characteristics of rhymes in their peoms. Yeonching Miscellaneous poems has the characteristics of Xikun Style with difficult poetic words, abundant classic allusions and rhetoric devices. On the other hand, DuMenZhuZhi poems and JingDuZhuZhi poems are characterized by using easy-to-understand colloquial and “Erhua” in Beijing dialect and frank expressions of their feelings.
And the musical character of their poems is emphasized.
Chapter 4 is the conclusion part, in which it mainly discusses the two poets’ individual characteristics of ZhuZhi poems and the significance in literature history. Yeonching Miscellaneous poems carries the characteristics of ZhuZhi poems in terms of content and form, while it also has the characteristics of traditional poems by officials and scholars, which makes it looks more of ZhuZhi poems in a broad sense. On the other hand, it is evident that both DuMenZhuZhi poems and JingDuZhuZhi poems have inherited the traditions of ZhuZhi poems in terms of content and form and prominently exhibit popular styles. Yeonching Miscellaneous poems is meaningful in that it shows the characteristic aspect of Joseon’ ZhuZhi poems. DuMenZhuZhi poems and JingDuZhuZhi poems have the meaning of showing the blend of ZhuZhi poems and the local Chronicles.
