초록

그리스도교의 교회 실존의 원리는 예수 그리스도다. 곧 그리스도교는 말씀이 사람이 되시어 사람들 가운데 사시는(요한 1,14 참조) 예수 그리스도를 신앙하고 그를 주님으로 고백하며 추종하는 것을 근간으로 하는 계시 종교다. 이 예수가 자신의 전체 삶을 통해, 말과 행위로써 하느님을 드러내고 구원을 제시했다는 점에서 그는 계시의 중개자일 뿐 아니라 계시의 내용이며 계시 자체이다. 따라서 예수 그리스도가 그 교회의 실존 원리임은 자명하고, 교회 실존의 기초 또한 예수의 실제 삶, 곧 그의 말과 행위에 바탕을 두고 있다는 것 역시 명백하다. 그런데 이 예수 그리스도의 말과 행위 자체는 제2차 바티칸 공의회가 새롭게 인식한 계시 개념과도 통한다. 곧 공의회 이전의 말(言) 중심의 계시 이해와 달리 계시에는 말(교의)뿐 아니라 행위(사목)가 함께 포함되고, 말과 행위가 밀접한 관련 속에 서로를 설명한다고 이해한다. 이 같은 계시의 역사성과 육화에 대한 심화된 이해는 결국 이 공의회에 자의식을 찾게 하면서 공의회의 포괄적인 신학적 인식 원리와 그리스도교적 행동 원리가 된다.
본고의 단초는 이러한 교의와 사목의 밀접한 관계가 교회의 사목 일선과 신학의 배움터에서 올바로 이해되고 실행되고 있는가에 대한 반성과 함께 양자의 불가분의 필연적 상관성을 바로 인식하고 있는가에 대한 성찰이다. 이에 본고는 교회 실존의 두 기초인 교의와 사목의 긴밀한 관계를 바로 예수 그리스도의 말씀과 행위를 기반으로 하는 이 공의회의 계시 이해와 관련하여, 이 공의회의 총체적 실행의 중심인 예수 그리스도의 삶, 그리고 인간의 실존을 바탕으로 고찰하면서 교의와 사목의 필연적-실제적 상관성을 밝힌다. 결국 교회가 그 기원을 예수 그리스도에 두고 있고, 교회의 실현 역시 그리스도의 말씀과 행위에 기초한 그리스도의 직무(왕직, 사제직, 예언직)에의 참여와 실행을 통해 일어난다는 것이 이 공의회 교회론의 근간이라면, 그것은 교회의 가르침(교의)과 인간의 구체적 실존의 내용(사목)의 불가분성을 다시금 드러내는 것이다.

영어초록

The fundamental principle of the existence of the church in Christianity is Jesus Christ. That is, Christianity is the revelatory religion that is based on belief in Jesus Christ, confessing he is our Lord, and following him who is “the word became flesh and dwelt among us(the human beings)”(Jn 1:14). On the ground that Jesus revealed God and indicated the salvation through his whole life, namely his words and deeds, he is not only the mediator of the revelation but also the content of it and the revelation itself. Therefore it is self-evident that Jesus Christ is the fundamental principle of the existence of the church in Christianity and it is also obvious that the foundations of the existence of the church are based on the real life of Jesus, viz. his words and deeds. And the words and the deeds of Jesus Christ play an important role in the renewed perception on the concept of the revelation of the Second Vatican Council. That is, unlike the old understanding of the revelation centered on the words, this Council interprets that the revelation holds not only the words(Dogma) but also the deeds(Pastoral) and the words and the deeds explains each other in a close connection. Such historicality of the revelation and a deep understanding of the Incarnation become the principal of the comprehensive theological recognition and the principal of the christian action by making the Council find self-consciousness.
The motivations of this study are the reflection on whether this close relation between Dogma and Pastoral can be correctly understood and performed in pastoral fields of the church and in schools of theology, and the consideration on whether people correctly understand the necessary interrelationship of the two aspects. Therefore this treatise examines the close relation between Dogma and Pastoral as the two foundations of the existence of the church in connection with the understanding of the revelation of the Second Vatican Council that is founded on the words and deeds of Jesus Christ, and clarifies the necessary-real interrelationship between Dogma and Pastoral through an examination focused on the life of Jesus Christ as the center of the whole execution of Vatican Ⅱ, and the existence of the human being. Finally, if the bases of the ecclesiology of the Council are these, namely Jesus Christ is the origin of church and the existence of church happens through the participation and the performance of the offices of Christ(Prophet, Priest, King), it manifests again the inseparability between the doctrines of the church(Dogma) and the contents of the concrete existence of the human being(Pastoral).
