동아시아 사회문화공동체 형성에 따른 무용예술교류의 방향 (Possible Direction of Dance Arts Exchanges Depending on the Creation of a Social-Cultural Community in East Asia)

초록

The purpose of this study was to present possible direction of dance arts exchanges depending upon creation of a cultural community in East Asia with a focus on peace and co-prosperity, so that the direction of dance arts exchanges could be employed as another driving force to realize a mutual goal, i.e. a cultural community in East Asia.
Based on a conclusion of EU case that culture is prerequisite for implanting a sense of community into the European citizens, East Asia still implements cultural policy programs in the aspect of community across a variety of fields such as art education, tourism and media. Moreover, the ASEAN Committee on Culture and Information (COCI) develops cultural exchanges and activities in a variety of fields such as visual and performing arts, literature and ASEAN research, radio, television, film, video, publication and personal media with a view to pursuing mutual understandings and solidarity among ASEAN members by mutual cooperations in culture and information for the sake of ASEAN’s unity. This way, multilateral exchanges and cooperations based on culture and arts become a foundation on which we can find any original history, society and national identity of each country and also create a mutual partnership with one another on the basis of multilateral trust. Furthermore, it is not too much to say that such exchanges and cooperations are most effective means of communications among countries and nations.
