IPA분석을 활용한 예술고등학교 모델 전공수업 중요도와 만족도 차이 (Difference in Importance and Satisfaction of Model Major Class of Art High School Using IPA Analysis)

초록

본 연구는 예술고등학교 모델 전공 수업을 듣는 학생들이 인지하는 전공수업의 중요도와 만족도의 차이를 파악하여 전공수업을 구성하는 요소 중 개선, 유지 시킬 요소를 구분하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 서울 지역의 소재하고 있는 H 예술고등학교에 재학 중인 패션모델과 고등학생 1〜3학년을 모집단으로 설문지는 자기평가기입법(Self-administration method)으로 작성한 설문지를 회수한 후 총 171부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 회수한 설문지는 SPSS 21.0 version을 이용하여 빈도분석을 실시한 후, 타당도와 신뢰도를 알아보기 위하여 탐색적요인분석(exploratory factor analysis), Cronbach's α 계수를 이용한 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis), 독립표본 t-검증(independent-sampling t-test), 대응표본 t검증(paired t-test), 일원분산분석(one-way ANOVA), 그리고 IPA Matrix 분석을 실시하여 다음과 같이 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 중요도 차이를 분석한 결과, 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 만족도 차이를 분석한 결과 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 성별에 따른 만족도 차이를 분석한 결과 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 학년에 따른 만족도 차이를 분석한 결과 선생님과 시설에서는 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 커리큘럼과 수업분위기에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 다섯째, 중요도-만족도 차이를 분석한 결과 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 여섯째, 예술고등학교 모델 전공 수업 중요도-만족도 속성인 IPA Matrix 분석결과 높은 중요도와 높은 만족도의 Ⅰ사분면에서는 의사소통능력, 자신감을 북 돋아주는 것, 개개인에게 주는 관심, 학생과의 관계, 칭찬과 격려, 공지사항 전달, 신뢰가 가는 수업분위기, 편안한 수업분위기, 질의응답이 수월한 수업분위기, 학생관리가 잘되는 수업분위기, 균등한 학습기회, 정확한 피드백, 친구들과의 수업분위기, 목표를 정하는 수업분위기, 자신감을 주는 수업분위기, 성취감을 느끼는 수업분위기의 16개의 항목이 자리를 하였고, 높은 중요도와 낮은 만족도의 Ⅱ사분면은 실기실의 청결함, 실기실의 기자재, 실기실의 크기, 실기실의 편의성, 실기실의 보안의 5개의 항목이 자리를 하였고, 낮은 중요도와 낮은 만족도의 Ⅲ사분면은 실기실의 디자인, 휴식시설, 이론 수업시간, 수업계획서 4개의 항목이 자리를 하였고, 마지막으로 낮은 중요도와 높은 만족도의 Ⅳ사분면은 충분한 상담, 수업난이도, 수업시간표, 수업 참고자료, 수업진도, 수업 수강인원, 재미있는 수업분위기의 7개의 항목이 자리를 하였다. 이상의 결과는 더 나은 교육서비스 제공에 다양한 시사점을 제공한다.
특히 Ⅱ사분면에 자리한 시설 측면에 우선적인 개선과 대책이 필요함을 알 수 있게 한 결과이다.

영어초록

This research is purposed to distinguish the elements that we need to improve or maintain from all of which influence major class by identifying the difference in importance and satisfaction of the students majoring in model at Arts High School. Out of Self Administration Method type of questionnaires that were filled by and retrieved from a population of fashion model students and the 1st to 3rd grade high school students of H Arts High School located in Seoul, 171 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The following conclusion was reached by a frequency analysis which was initially performed on the retrieved 171 questionnaires using SPSS1.0 followed by a set of analyses for the feasibility and reliability such as exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis using Cronbach's α coefficient, independent sampling t-test, paired t-test, one-way ANOVA and IPA Matrix analysis. First, an analysis of differences in importance by gender showed a significant difference. Second, an analysis of differences in satisfaction by grade showed a significant difference. Third, an analysis of differences in satisfaction by gender showed no significant difference. Fourth, an analysis of differences in satisfaction by grade showed a significant difference in teacher and facility, but no significant difference in curriculum and class atmosphere. Fifth, an analysis of differences between importance and satisfaction showed a significant difference. Sixth, from IPA Matrix analysis which measures the importance and the satisfaction of model major class at Arts High School, the following 16 items fall into Quadrant 1 which indicates high importance and high satisfaction: communication skill, motivation, interest in individual, relationship with students, compliment and encouragement, notice announcement, reliable class atmosphere, relaxed class atmosphere, question and answer friendly class atmosphere, class atmosphere with good student management, equal learning opportunity, accurate feedback, class atmosphere with classmates, goal oriented class atmosphere, class atmosphere providing a sense of self-confidence, class atmosphere providing a sense of accomplishment. The following 5 items fall into Quadrant 2 which indicates high importance and low satisfaction: cleanliness of practical room, materials and equipment in practical room, size of practical room, convenience and security of practical room. The following 4 items fall into Quadrant 3 which indicates low importance and low satisfaction: design of practical room, relaxation facility, theoretical class and syllabus. Lastly, the following 7 items fall into Quadrant 4 which indicates low importance and high satisfaction: sufficient consultation, class difficulty, class timetable, reference materials, class progress, class population, interesting atmosphere in class. The research finding provides a variety of implications to a better education service. Especially, it clearly indicates that there is a need to prioritize improvement and solutions to the facility related elements placed in Quadrant 2
