아시아 문화공동체를 겨냥한 다문화 공유의 민속축제 구상 (A Study on Plan of Folk Festival for Multi-cultural Sharing Aimed at Asian Currency Unit)

초록

아시아 문화공동체(ACU)를 겨냥한 아시아축제를 새롭게 구상하는 것이 이 논의의목적이다. 축제의 목적은 기존 체제를 뒤집어서 해방세계를 이루는 데 있다. 이러한목적에 따라 축제 주체는 민중 중심, 축제 공간은 주변부 중심, 축제 시간은 미래 중심에 초점을 둔다. 따라서 현재 주류를 이루는 한중일의 대중문화가 아니라, 미래의 아시아공동체를 위해 제3세계 민중이 주체가 되는 민속축제를 표방하되, 타국의 민속 또는 다중문화 향유자가 주체가 되는 국제축제를 모색한다.
미래는 아시아의 시대라는 사실을 자각하고 아시아의 문화적 전통에 관심을 기울인다. 한국인으로서 한국문화만을 누리는 한국의 민중이 아니라, 한국인이자 아시아 민중으로서 아시아 각국의 타문화를 누리는 해외교민, 그리고 아시아 민중이자 한국인으로서 한국의 민속을 익히고 전승하는 혼입여성과 외국인 근로자들이 주체가 되는 디아스포라 축제를 구상하는 것이다. 아시아의 시대답게 세상에서 일찍이 없었던 새로운축제를 구상해서 세계 축제의 보기를 이룬다.
민중축제의 주체로는 첫째, 노숙자와 같은 국내의 도시 민중, 둘째, 외국인 근로자나 혼입여성 등 현대사회의 소외계층이 중심이 되게 한다. 문화축제의 내용으로는 첫째, 자문화가 아닌 타문화, 둘째, 단일문화가 아닌 이중문화가 살아나는 다문화 축제를 구상한다. 따라서 자국에서 붙박이로 살며 자문화만 누리는 토박이들의 축제가 아니라, 이주민들과 유학생들처럼 디아스포라로 살아가며 타문화를 터득한 이중문화 향유자들의 축제가 되는 것이다. 그러므로 아래위로는 계급적 상하질서를 무너뜨리고 좌우로는 국경과 국적의 경계를 허물어 버리는 축제를 함으로써 아시아 문화공동체를 만드는 것이다.
아시아가 EU를 본받으면서도 그 한계를 넘어서는 ‘아시아 문화공동체’를 만들어가려면, 첫째, 한류의 추세를 따라 K-Pop 축제를 할 것이 아니라 아시아 각국의 민족정체성이 뚜렷한 민속축제를 해야 ‘화이부동’의 문화다양성이 살아난다. 둘째, 산업사회와 국제화 시대에 새로 출현한 민중들 곧 외국인 근로자와 혼입여성들의 희망을 만드는 축제로 가야 한다. 셋째, 국제적 경험을 갖추고 타문화의 능력을 발휘하는 디아스포라 축제를 구상해야 한다. 넷째, 국제간 문화교류와 소통 결과로 이루어진 다중문화가 존중되는 축제여야 한다. 다섯째, 자문화의 정체성을 존중하는 ‘화이부동’의 아시아축제를 고려해야 한다. 그러면 아시아적 문화다양성이 풍부해지고 각국 민족문화가대등하게 공생하는 다문화주의 아시아공동체를 만들어갈 수 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of the study was to make a new plan of Asian festival aimed at ACU. The purpose of the festival is to achieve a liberation world by upsetting the existing system. According to such a purpose, the subject of the festival puts a focus on the people, the place of the festival on the periphery and the time of the festival on the future. Therefore, the study groped an international festival with folks of other countries or enjoyers of multi culture as the subject, claiming to stand for folk festival with the third-world people as the subject for Asian community in the future, not pop culture of Korea, China and Japan in the mainstream in the present.
The study perceived that the future would be the times of Asia and paid attention to Asian cultural tradition. The study planned a Diaspora festival with overseas Korean enjoying other culture in each country as a Korean and the Asian people, mixing women and foreign workers who acquired Korean folk as the Asian people and Korean as the subject, not the Korean people enjoying only Korean culture as a Korean. It will be a model of world festival by planning a new festival which has not existed in the world before like the times of Asia. The festival of the people put a focus on domestic urban people as a homeless and a neglect class of people in the modern times such as foreign workers or mixing women. In the contents of culture festival, first, the study planned multi cultural festival for other culture, not own culture, second, double culture, not single culture. Therefore, it is a festival for people acquiring and other culture and enjoying double culture in Diaspora like emigrants or international students, not a festival for native people enjoying only own culture in their countries. Therefore,it is to make an Asian Currency Unit as a festival breaking down a class order and the boundary of borders and nationality.
To make ‘ACU’ beyond the limit of EU by regarding it as a model, first,Asia should make a folk festival with the national identity of each country in Asia for the cultural diversity of ‘harmony but not sameness’, not K-pop festival followed by a trend of Korean wave. Second, Asia should make a festival for hope of the people appeared newly in the industrial society and the times of internationalization, namely foreign workers and mixing women. Third, Asia should make Diaspora festival to display the ability of other culture with international experience. Fourth, Asia should make a festival respecting multi culture by international culture exchange and communication results. Fifth, Asia should consider the Asian festival of ‘harmony but not sameness’ respecting the identity of own culture. At this time, Asia can make an Asian community in multiculturalism to make the diversity of Asian culture be abundant and to make the folk culture of each country coexist equally.
