다문화상황에서의 결혼예식에 대한 고찰 (A Liturgical Study on Wedding Ceremony in the Multi-cultural Context)

초록

오늘날 한국사회가 갖고 있는 다문화 결혼의 문제점은 차이의 대화의 부재에 기인한다. 차이의 대화란 차별과 반대되는 말로서, 평행적인 병렬이나 함몰-병합-동일화, 정-반-합의 종합이 아니라, 서로의 차이를 각자의 정체성으로 인정하는 간주관적 대화이다. 예배와 같은 교회의 일 역시 절대적 타자 또는 상호주관적 타자와 만나는 간주간적 대화이며, 여기서 교회는 이러한 간주간적 대화에서 다양한 목소리들의 대화를 이루는 가교의 역할을 해야 한다. 이에 본 논문은 결혼예식을 중심으로 한 다문화상황의 문제를 제기하고 다문화적 상황에서의 결혼예식을 위한 간주간적 대화의 신학을 구성하려고 한다.
무엇보다도 우리의 콘텍스트에서 발견되는 문제는 차별과 분리의 이분법이다. 이것은 독백주의를 낳는다. 독백주의의 일방성을 피하기 위해 대화적 신학은 방법론적으로 병렬이란 요소를 중시한다. 대화적 신학은 그 어느 쪽 하나도 버리지 않는 ‘both-and’의 병렬의 방법을 사용한다는 점에서 두 개의 포커스를 가진 상관관계의 방법론이나, 일원론에 기인하는 역설의 방법이나, 한 개의 포커스를 향해 나아가는 변증법적 방법과는 다르다.
대화적 관점에서 다문화 결혼에 대한 철학적 전제는 나와 너의 인격적 대화이며 성서적 결론은 ‘돕는 배필’이다. 여기서 대화란 타자를 어떻게 수용하는가하는 문제인데, 대화적 철학에서는 화자와 청자의 역할은 변화되고, 모든 이들은 예전의 공동작업을 위한 창조적 참여자가 된다. 그리고 타자는 관계적 존재, 잉여적 존재, 참여를 통해 완성되어지는 존재, 응답책임성을 가진 존재로 이해한다.
이런 의미에서 대화적 신학은 인종적 이해와 문화의 토착화, 여성의 해방, 소외의 극복을 지향하며, 이분법과 차별과 지배 대신, 통전과 연대와 상생의 하나 됨을 추구한다. 물론 여기서 하나 됨이란 함몰이나 편입이 아니라, 상호간주관적인 차이의 대화를 의미한다. 이것은 시혜적인 일방성이 아니라 호혜적 유익성이며, 그들의 것은 폐기해야 하는 것이 아니라 우리의 잉여로서 가져와야 하는 것들이다. 결국 하나님의 선교는 인종, 문화, 사회, 경제적 경계를 넘어서는 것으로서, 예배는 하나님 나라의 한 몸의 잔치이며, 결혼예식은 한 몸을 이루기 위한 프락시스이다.
이런 맥락 하에서 예전학자들은 차이의 대화를 이루기 위한 예전신학적 집짓기를 시도해야한다. 타자성에 대한 새로운 인식을 건축의 기초로 하여, 십자가-고난에의 연대와 부활의 축제를 두 기둥으로 삼고, 참여성과 자발적 창의성을 중시해야 한다. 이때 예전적으로 고려해야할 점들이 있다. 먼저 타자로서의 토착문화 및 종교적 차이의 대화 문제를 고려해야 한다. 고난에의 연대를 이루는 방편인 성례전적 요소들과 축제적 요소를 고려해야한다. 이 과정에서 집례자는 참여를 인도하는 공동작업의 디자이너이자, 창조적 예술가인 점을 고려해야 한다. 즉 예전집례자는 병렬을 통해 차이의 대화를 유도함으로서, 전적 타자는 물론 수많은 타자들을 만나게 하며, 병렬된 상징들을 끊임없이 의미화 시키는 사람이다.

영어초록

The Korean society has been encountered with multi-culturalism. A problem of multi-cultural marriage is the absence of dialogue with different voices. Dialogue with different voices opposing discrimination, is not a paralleled juxtaposition, but a dialogue to overcome a discrepancy.
It is an inter-subjective dialogue recognizing different voices. Christian worship is the encounter with the Other and others. The primary Christian worship is the place in which the dialogue of many different voices are received and connected. In this dissertation, I tried to construct a dialogic theology for the marriage ceremony in the multi-cultural context.
Issues that are raised in Part 1 is the discrimination and separation in multi-cultural marriages. Dialogic theology emphasizes a juxtaposition to avoid the uni-directional monologism. The methodology of juxtaposition is not the correlation methodology with two focuses, nor a dalectical methodology towards the only one focus. Dialogic theology emphasizes differences between two focuses, not discarding any side.
The Bible and philosophy are considered parallel to the basis of revelation and reason. The Bible concludes that the relationship between the bride and the bridegroom is to be "helper for the other." Philosophy concludes based on dialogue that the two share an "I-Thou" personal relationship. The difference in the dialogue exists on the problem of how they accommodate each other. The philosophy of the dialogue changes the role of the speaker the listening, making others creative participants for the collaboration of liturgy. The other becomes responsible for the relationship, the surplus, the answer, which is accomplish through participation.
The architecture of liturgical theology will be examined through various theological considerations. The foundation of this theology rests on the respect for the other. The parallelism that exists between the solidarity in the suffering of Christ and the festival of the resurrection acts as the two poles that hold this structure. The participation of audience is the roof-tiles that rests on top of this architecture; the expressiveness is the plaster and the paint.
I will examine the liturgical theology for a better understanding of the difference in dialogue. This issue is connected with the cultural indigenization and multi-religious dialogue. For the dialogue, the pastor is the collaborative designer and the creative artist leading the participation of the audience.
Dialogic theology overcomes the alienation. It pursues the liberation of women, cultural indigenization, and racial tolerance. Instead of discrimination and domination, it energizes the wholeness and the solidarity of a win-win relationship. The result of this dialogue is mutual-subjectivism, not incorporation. The mission of God is beyond the racial, cultural, social, and economic boundaries. The benefactor of the dialogue between different voices is not one-sided, but reciprocal. Worship is the feast of the kingdom of God to become one body of Jesus and the marriage ceremony is the Praxis to achieve this body.
