뉴미디어 아트의 특성이 나타난 전시관 공간구성 디자인 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Gallery Design to be reflected in the Characteristic of New Media Art)

초록

A lot of very complicated and new changes are happening in the new media days along with the development and use of the digital technologies. Due to the rapid changes, more boundaries between the specific disciplines are likely to disappear and instead more possibilities and creative alternatives are appearing. This study is to review the new media arts affecting the modern society and sum up the expression factors and characteristics and then analyze the cases of architectural design of modern exhibition hall. The result of the studies conducted under the composition of the study is as follows. First, the architecture through the participation provides the open space to the visitors who in turn define the function of the space.
Second, the non existence caused by non materialistic sound and video takes the upper position in the architecture using the media. Third, the architecture through the demolition of the space becomes the space to which the flow is connected. The trend is expected to open the door toward the space of communication in which the ambient environment and the user, the environment and the building and the users. And the building can communicate with each other, thus getting out of the classical viewpoints shown in the object of modern architecture in the past and the classical decoration shown in the post modernism.
