尾崎紅葉의『고코로노야미(心の闇)』論 -love(恋愛)의 向背- (A study on ozakikoyo’s kokoronoyami -Attitude of love-)

초록

本論文は、尾崎紅葉の『心の闇』がどのような小説であろうかを考察したものである。従来、『心の闇』は心理的·芸術的な側面で読まれてきたけれども、より深く理解するためには当時の歴史的·社会的な側面に対する論議も必要ではないだろうか、という考えから論を起こした。論文の展開は、一番目ラブ(love)の翻訳と紅葉の『心の闇』の誕生、二番目佐の市とお久米のラブ·アフェア(love affair)、三番目写実主義作家としての結末、という順で述べた。一番目、ラブ(love)の翻訳と紅葉の『心の闇』では、1890年頃、新しく西洋のラブ(love)という概念が精神的な側面を強調した形のラブ(恋愛)として紹介された経緯や、そのラブ(恋愛)を巡る知的な論争についてのことを考察した。そして、そのような時代的な関心の渦中に恐らく紅葉もいたのではないだろうかという仮説を立てた。二番目、佐の市とお久米のラブ·アフェア(love affair)では、始めに佐の市のお久米に向かった恋情と情念の内在化、その次にお久米の佐の市に対する惻隠の情と心的な苦痛の無意識化、終りに二人のラブ(恋愛)の向背とストーリーの収斂について述べた。特に「言はずして思ひ、疑ひて懼る。是も恋か、心の闇」という収斂の文句から、巖本善治によって紹介されたラブ(恋愛)の世界に紅葉は疑問を抱いていたのではないかと主張した。三番目、写実主義作家としての結末では、ラブ(恋愛)の勝利を歌ったものではなく、日本の現実の前で徹底的に向背を決した締め括りによって、紅葉は当時日本の世帯人情及び風俗をありのままに見せてくれることができた。このような側面から、『心の闇』は文学史的な意味を持っているし、写実主義作家としての紅葉の真面目を見せてくれた小説であると言える。

영어초록

This paper studies the novel ‘Kokoronoyami’ of Ozakikoyo. Traditionally, people read ‘Kokoronoyami’ in terms of psychological and artistic aspects. However, they also need to consider both the historical and social aspects in order to gain a deeper understanding. This paper considers three issues. First, it deals with the translation of ‘love’ and the birth of Koyo's ‘Kokoronoyami’. Then, the following part is about the 'Love affair' of sanoiti and okume. Finally, the conclusion as a ‘realistic writer’ is discussed.
First, it discusses the concept of a new Western Love and focuses on the spiritual aspect and the intelligent debate surrounding the Love. Then it is hypothesized that koyo had been caught in the maelstrom due to societal interests of the age.
Next, it demonstrates sanoiti’s the internalization of coalition and passion towards okume, Also, it demonstrates okume’s unconscious process of dealing with compassion she feels event hough she is psychologically struggling with his attitude towards love and psychological suffering and the attitudes to Love and their love and collects of story. In particular, I asserted that the phrase “Kokoronoyami”. Think without speaking, and we are afraid of having doubts. involves koyo’s doubt about ‘the world of Love’ introduced by iwamotoyosiharu.
Finally, the conclusion of realistic writer is meant not to express the victory of love, but to thoroughly express the attitude facing the reality of Japan; koyo showed the way of the world, life, men and customs. In these terms, I can confidently say that ‘Kokoronoyami’ has literary meaning and that novel proves koyo’s real worth.
