    초록

    This study was conducted on 10 male ssireum players, who regularly exercise, to verify the effect of Kinesio taping on athletic performance and fatigue recovery. The analysis results for the change of anaerobic athletic capabilities (mean power, peak power, and fatigue index) and concentrations of muscle fatigues (lactic acid, ammonia, and inorganic phosphate) measured through Wingate Test depending on whether the Kinesio taping was used are as follows. SPSS 18.0 Window statistical program was used for this analysis.
    First, mean power, peak power and fatigue index, which are the anaerobic athletic capabilities, showed no differences between the groups, but were significantly decreased after 2 exercises according to the exercising times. There was no interaction between the exercising time and the group. Second, the concentration of lactic acid showed significantly lower in the taping group, and was high before and after one exercise, and before and after two exercises according to the time. There was no interaction between the time and the group, but significantly less lactic acid was verified to be created in the taping group. Third, the concentration of ammonia showed lower at the taping group than at the non-taping group, and was high before and after one exercise, and before and after two exercises according to the time. But there was no interaction between the time and the group. Fourth, inorganic phosphate concentration showed no difference between the groups, but was high before and after one exercise, and before and after two exercises. But there was no interaction between the time and the group. In conclusion, the Kinesio taping helped reduce muscle fatigues by improving blood supply to muscles, but have no effect on anaerobic athletic capabilities. Concentrations of lactic acid and ammonia, which are muscle fatigue substances, showed lower in the taping group than in the non-taping group, but muscle fatigues were not statistically significant in the test. In the future, continuous studies will be required to verify the effect of the Kinesio taping on the repeated anaerobic exercises or the exercises with sophisticated technical factors.
