의미 네트워크(Semantic Network) 기반학교폭력 소재 미디어 콘텐츠에 대한한․중 대학생의 문화적 경험과 인식 분석 -드라마 <더 글로리>와 영화 <소년시절의 너(少年的你)>를 중심으로- (Analysis of Korean and Chinese University Students' Perception of School Violence Media Contents Using SNA(Semantic Network Analysis) Focusing on Drama and Film )

초록

이 연구의 목적은 의미 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 미디어 콘텐츠의 학교폭력에 대한 한국과 중국 국적 대학생의 문화적 경험과 인식을 고찰하는 것이다. 분석 텍스트는 한국 대학생 43명과 중국 유학생 27명의 학교폭력 소재 한․중 미디어 콘텐츠에 대한 감상 글쓰기 문서이다. 한국 드라마 <더 글로리>는 넷플릭스의 화제작으로 현실의 학교폭력을 주요 소재로 구성한 드라마로 방영 후 한국 뿐 아니라, 전 세계적으로 높은 인기를 얻은 드라마이다. 중국 영화 <소년시절의 너(少年的你)>는 2019년에 개봉한 청춘 영화로 학교폭력을 둘러싼 청춘 세대의 이야기를 중심 서사로 한다. 두 작품 모두 학교폭력을 중심 서사로 한 점에서 한․중 양국에서 매우 큰 사회적 반향을 일으켰다. 의미 네트워크(Semantic Network)를 활용하여 한중 양국 대학생의 글쓰기 문서를 분석한 결과, 한국 대학생은 ‘복수의 통쾌감, 가해자 처벌 강화의 정서적 공감’, ‘피해자 보호, 예방의 사회 도덕적 인식’, ‘중국영화의 정서 공감과 사회 비교’, ‘영화 결말에 대한 긍정적 정서 공감’의 정서적 공감과 인식 주제군이 도출된 것을 확인하였다. 중국 대학생은 ‘가해자 처벌의 사회 비교 인식’, ‘주인공 학교폭력 피해의 사회 비교’, ‘계급, 가정환경의 학교폭력 원인 인식’, ‘학교폭력 대응과 예방의 사회의식’의 사회 비교와 인식 주제군을 확인하였다. 한․중 대학생이 작성한 텍스트 분석 결과를 비교하면, 가해자 처벌에 대한 인식이 가장 많았고, 피해자 보호와 학교폭력 대응, 예방에 대한 사회적 공감과 도덕의식이 높게 나타났다. 차이점은 한국 대학생의 경우, 학교폭력 가해자에 대한 분노, 피해자에 대한 안타까움, 슬픔 등 정서적 공감이 가장 많은 데 비해 중국 대학생은 사회 비교의 인지적 공감과 사회 인식을 더 많이 보였다.
학교폭력 대응 및 예방 교육과 타 국가의 사회 문화 이해에 있어 미디어 콘텐츠 활용 가능성을 탐색한 점에 연구 의의가 있으며, 일부 대학생 집단의 분석이기 때문에 결과를 일반화할 수 없는 점이 연구의 한계라고 할 수 있다. 이는 상세한 분석 모집단 설정과 통제를 갖춘 후속 연구를 통해 보완할 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the cultural experiences and perceptions of Korean and Chinese University students about school violence in the media using Semantic Network Analysis. The analysis text is a writing document on Korean-Chinese media content based on school violence by 43 Korean students and 27 Chinese students at H University in Daejeon. The Semantic Network analysis method, one of the big data analysis methods, was used to analyze the experience, perception patterns, and characteristics of media content of Korean and Chinese college students about school violence. Korea Drama <The Glory> is a popular Netflix drama that has gained high popularity not only in Korea but also around the world. The Chinese film <Better Days> is a youth film focuses on the story of the youth generation surrounding school violence.
As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that Korean college students had experiences and recognition topics such as "emotional empathy and perception of revenge, strengthening offender punishment," "social moral perception of victim protection and prevention," "emotional empathy and social comparison awareness" and "positive emotional empathy for Chinese film ending." Chinese University students had social comparison and perception topics such as "awareness of Korean-Chinese social comparison of perpetrators' punishment," "awareness of class and family environment as the cause of school violence," and "social awareness of school violence response and prevention." Comparing the results of text analysis written by Korean and Chinese University students, there was the most awareness of punishment for perpetrators, and social empathy and moral awareness for victim protection, school violence response, and prevention were high. The difference is that Korean University students have the most emotional empathy, such as anger at school violence perpetrators, regret for victims, and sadness, while Chinese University students showed more cognitive empathy and social awareness of social comparison.
It is significant in that it explored the possibility of using media content to education prevent of school violence and understanding of other country social culture. the limitation of the study is that the results cannot be generalized because it is an analysis of some University student groups. This will be supplemented by subsequent studies with detailed analytical settings and controls.
