마음공부에 바탕한 인성교육의 실천 사례 (A Study on the Actual Cases of Character Education Based on Mind Practice)

초록

본 연구는 마음공부에 바탕한 인성교육의 실천사례를 연구하였다. 이를 위 해 마음공부와 인성교육을 정의하고 상호 연계하여 이론을 정립한 후 실천적 준거의 틀을 대자적 개인역량 계발과 대타적 관계역량 계발의 통합된 마음공 부와 인성교육으로서 이론적　배경을 마련하였다. 그리하여 초·중·고 학생 과 대학생들을 대상으로 실천하여 활용한 프로그램의 내용을 기술하고 분석 한 후 해석하였다. B복지관 방과 후 초등학생 대상의 연구에서는 자기중심성 을 가지고 자신의 입장에서만 사물을 보고 다른 사람의 생각, 관점이나 감정을 충분히 이해하지 못하는 타인부적응의 정서가 주류가 되는 것에 대한 새로운 마음공부적 인성교육의 효과가 나타났다. W중·고등학생 대상의 유·무념대 조 인성교육 프로그램 연구에서는 자기중심성의 감소와 역할 수행기술의 발 달로서 도덕적 문제를 여러 가지 각도에서 조망해 볼 수 있게 한다. 따라서 내 마음을 바라보고 규칙적인 생활을 하며 친구들에게 적극 감사하고 상대를 칭 찬하며 부모에게는 효심을 가지고 건전한 경제생활을 하고 배려와 나눔을 실 천하며 자연과 더불어 함께 살아갈 수 있도록 정신, 예의, 근로교육 등의 인성 교육 방향으로 실천하였다. W대학생 대상의 덕성훈련 프로그램은 마음공부 에 바탕한 인성교육으로 그들이 정체성을 확립하고 정신개벽의 수월성 교육 에 기여하며 사은에 대한 감사생활과 봉사를 하도록 한다. 그리고 창조적 도덕 교육의 프로그램을 운영하여 그들로 하여금 도의실천인증제를 받아 도덕사회 리더로서 성장하도록 교육하였다. 이러한 연구를 통해 대학생 대상의 통합형 인성교육 실천 사례를 제시하였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점 과 제언을 논하였다.

영어초록

This study deals with some actual cases of character education based on mind practice. For this aim, I first of all defined the concepts of mind practice as well as character education and, after establishing the theories in relation to each other, prepared theoretical background for integrated mind practice and character education to develop individual capability of für-sich-sein and relational capability of für-anderes-sein as a practical frame of standard. In this context, I analyzed and interpreted the contents of the program which was applied to elementary, middle, and high school students and college students. From the after-school study of elementary school students enrolled in B Welfare Center, it was revealed that the new paradigm of character education was effective to fight such prevalent trends as self-centeredness and maladjustment toward others in which people think only of themselves and look at others from their own perspective, without trying to understand the thoughts, perspectives, or feelings of others. A study on the character education program for contrasting thoughtfulness and thoughtlessness of W Middle and High Schools' students helped them to view from various angles the moral issues by reducing self-centeredness and developing roleplay techniques. Thanks to the program, students could learn how to look at their own mind, live a regular life, express gratitude to friends actively, praise partners, be dutiful to parents, make a healthy economic life, practice concern for and sharing with others, by thus realizing the goals of character education by way of spirit, manners and work. The program for cultivating virtues of W University undergraduates which was based on mind practice succeeded in urging the students to find their identity, contributing to the excellence education for spiritual enlightenment and motivating them to lead a life full of appreciation to the Four Graces and services they are doing. The program also introduced the curriculum for creative moral education in which students could grow to be moral social leaders by acquiring the moral certification. Through the researches, I tried to present a model study of integrated character education for college students. Based on the above results, I wish the implications and suggestions of the present study to be further discussed.
