태백산 일대의 ‘마고삼신계 제천단(당)’ 연구 (A Study of Mt. Taebaek area MaGoSamShin altars)

초록

본고는 배달국 제천산이었던 백두산 신시를 계승한 태백산 제천의 영향으로 태백산 일대에 남아있는 마고삼신계 제천단(당)을 여신, 천신, 칠성 유형으로 나누어 사례조사와 분석을 통해 살펴본 연구이다.


2000년대 이후 선도적 역사인식의 등장과 중국 동북 요서지역에서 발굴 된 고고학의 발전으로 태백산에 대한 연구도 민속· 무속적인 연구에서 선 도적인 시각으로의 연구가 가능하게 되었다. 특히 홍산문화 여신묘에서 발 견된 여신상으로 선도제천의 신격문제가 연구되었고, 상고 이래로 선도제 천의 신격은 여신, 즉 마고삼신이었음이 밝혀졌다.


존재의 본질이자 우주의 근원적인 생명에너지인 ‘일기·삼기, 마고삼신’ 은 밝문화로 대표되는 선도문화가 추구하는 ‘밝음’의 실체이므로, 생명에너 지인 ‘일기·삼기, 밝음’과 자신 안의 ‘일기· 삼기, 밝음’이 하나되고자 하 는 천인합일의 선도수행과정이 선도제천이다. 그러므로 한국선도제천의 신 격은 언제나 마고삼신이었고, 한국선도체천의 시작인 배달국 백두산 신시 의 전통을 이어받은 태백산 제천의 신격 또한 마고삼신이다. 필자는 먼저 태백산 제천의 유래와 마고삼신을 살펴보았다. 태백산 제천 의 유래와 제천의례절차를 통해서 태백산 제천의 신격이 마고삼신이었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로 태백산 일대에 남아있는 수많은 마고삼신계 제천단(당)을 여신, 천신, 칠성 유형으로 나누어 조사한 후, 대표적인 사례 들을 선정하여 자세히 살펴본 결과 태백산 마고제천과의 연계성을 확인할 수 있었다.

영어초록

This thesis is written examined the MagoSamShin altars remaining in the Taebaek Mountain area by dividing it into the types of goddesses, gods and Chilseong, etc. due to the influence of the Mt. Taebaek heavenly rituals had succeeded Mt. BaekDu ShinShi, the heavenly ritual mountain of BaeDalGuk.


After 2000's, the appearance of Korean SunDo's historical recognition and the archeological development excavated in Chinese northeast Liaoxi area enabled the study of Mt. TaeBaek in Korean SunDo's viewpoint away from folklore and shamanism so far. Especially with the goddess statues found in HungShan culture's goddess shrine, the divinity of SunDo heavenly rituals was researched. Thus it came to be clarified that the godhead of SunDo's heavenly rituals was the goddess MaGo from the ancient times. MaGo is the essence of existence ‘一氣 · 三氣’, the original life energy of the universe. The essence of being and fundamental life energy of the universe ‘一氣·三氣’ is the substance of 'brightness', what SunDo culture represented by Park culture pursues. Therefore ‘一氣 · 三氣’ and 'the brightness' are one and the same. SunDo's heavenly rituals are the practicing process to become one with '一氣· 三氣, the brightness’ and '一氣· 三氣, the brightness’ within oneself, which we call 'Heaven and Human Combined in One天人合一'. That is to say, it is 'the restoration of brightness'. Thus the divinity of Korean SunDo's heavenly rituals has always been MaGo. And Mt. TaeBaek heavenly rituals inherited from the tradition of ShinShi Mt. BaekDu, the heavenly ritual mountain of BaeDalGuk which started Korean SunDo‘s heavenly rituals, are also MaGo heavenly rituals.


To examine the Mago altars remaining in the Mt. Taebaek area, the researchers first looked at the Mt. Taebaek altars, a prototype of the MagoSamShin altars in the Mt. Taebaek area. The origin of the Mt. Taebaek heavenly rituals and the heavenly rituals Procedure confirmed that Mt. Taebaek was the burial site of the Mago heavenly rituals, and that the prestige of the Korean Seondo heavenly rituals was Mago since ancient times. Next, the MagogSamShin altars remaining in the Mt. Taebaek area was analyzed by dividing it into the types of goddesses, gods, and Chilseong to confirm its link with the Mt. Taebaek heavenly rituals.
