초록

본 연구는 《천부경》의 ‘하나’가 갖는 비(非)실체성의 특성을 이해하고자 하였다. 《천부경》의 ‘하나’이자 대종교의 ‘하나’는, 유(有)도 아니고 무(無)도 아니면서, 유(有)도 아니고 무(無)도 아닌 그리고 그 무엇조차도 아닌 것이라고 할 수있다. 동시에 이는 곧 ‘하나’라는 점에서 《천부경》의 ‘하나’가 갖는 비실체성은천지인(天地人) 삼재(三才)의 삼항(三項)적인 성격에 부합한 초월을 지시하고 있다. 이는 대종교라는 종교가 갖는 신비주의가 여타 종교들과 어떻게 다르게 이해될 수 있는지를 알려주는 단면이기도 하다. 즉, 대종교의 한얼님, 다른 말로 하느님이 다른 종교들의 하느님 혹은 깨달음과 어떻게 다른 특징과 고유의 정체성을갖고 있는지를 말해주는 관건이 바로 이 《천부경》의 ‘하나’에 대한 이해일 것이다.
또한 본 연구는 천지인 삼재의 삼항적 구조가 대종교 교리의 핵심적 특징임을《천부경》을 통해서 보여주었다. 그리고 대종교에서 삼항적 구조가 갖는 의미를제시하였다. 더불어 《천부경》의 ‘셋’이 의미하는 삼항적 성격의 특징은 여타 종교와 사상에서 말해지는 삼분법적 논리와는 다른 것임을 말하고자 하였다. 그것은‘하나’의 비실체성에서 비롯한, 이분법을 넘어서는 초월이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 이것은 대종교의 삼일(三一) 철학에서 말하는 ‘하나’이면서 ‘셋’인 구조에서나타나는 체일용삼(體一用三)의 체용(體用) 구조에서 비롯한다.
마지막으로 본 연구는 《천부경》에서 ‘사람’이 가지는 중심적인 지위를 확인함으로써 대종교가 신인합일(神人合一)이라는 신(神)과 인간의 평등을 지향함을 확인하여 주었다. 이것은 대종교가 천도교를 비롯한 한국의 민족종교들과 일맥상통하는 지점이다. 그리고 대종교에서 삼일 철학의 원리가 단지 ‘하나’에서 ‘셋’으로의분화만을 말하는 것이 아니라 ‘셋’에서 ‘하나’라는 근원에로의 회귀를 말하고 있음을 《천부경》의 ‘사람’의 역할을 통해 말해주었다. 이러한 대종교에서 신(神)과 동등한 ‘사람’의 지위는 대종교의 근대 신종교로서의 특징을 대표하는 지점이다.

영어초록

This study sought to understand the characteristics of the non-substantiality of the “One” of Cheonbukyeong(天符經). It can be said that the “One” of the Cheonbugyeong and the “One” of the Daejonggyo(大倧敎) are neither Being nor Nothing, neither Being nor Nothing nor anything. At the same time, in that it is “One,” the non-substantiality of “One” of the Cheonbugyeong dictates transcendence consistent with the trilateral nature of the Threematerial( 三才) of Heaven-earth-human. This is also a cross-section that shows how the mysticism of the religion of the Daejonggyo can be understood differently from other religions. In other words, it is the understanding of the “One” of this Cheonbugyeong that tells how God has different characteristics and unique identity from God or enlightenment of other religions.
In addition, this study showed through the Cheonbugyeong that the trilateral structure of Three-material(三才) of Heaven-earth-human, is a key characteristic of the Daejonggyo doctrine. In addition, the meaning of the trilateral structure in the Daejonggyo. In addition, it was intended to say that the characteristics of the trilateral character meaning by the “three” of Cheonbugyeong are different from the trinomial logic spoken in other religions and ideas. It can be said to be transcendent beyond the dichotomy, which comes from the non-substantiality of ‘One’. This stems from the Body-Use(體用) structure of Body-One and Use-Three(體一用三), which appears in the structure of “One” and “Three” in the Tree-One Philosophy of the Daejonggyo.
Finally, this study confirmed that the Daejonggyo aims for equality between the god and human beings, which is the unity of gods, by confirming the central position of “people” in the Cheonbugyeong. This is the point where the Daejonggyo is in line with Korean national religions, including Cheondogyo(天道敎). And it was told through the role of “people” in the Cheonbugyeong that the principle of Tree-One Philosophy in the Daejonggyo does not only refer to the differentiation from “One” to “Three,” but also to the return from “Three” to the source of “One”. In these Daejonggyo, the status of “people” equivalent to gods is a point that represents the characteristics of the Daejonggyo as a modern new religion.
