초록

0년대와 70년대의 정치·사회적 혼란 속에서 맞이한 80년대 한국 문학은, 다양한 목소리가 발아하는 때이다. 특히나 많은 종류의 동인·무크지가 등장한다. 그 중에서 시와 경제 는 문학의 공백기이자 확장기라 할 수 있는 80년대에, 문학이 가진 정치성과 미학성을 견지함은 물론 그것을 성취하였다.
본 연구는 연구방법론으로 피에르 바야르의 예상 표절과 랑시에르의 미학 논의를 접합하여, 시와 경제 가 한국 시문학사에서 갖는 역할과 의의를 고찰해보고자 한다. 피에르 바야르의 예상 표절 개념을 통해서 본 시와 경제 는 깊이 있는 문학사적 의의를 짚을 수 있게 된다. 바야르는 선배 작가가 후배 작가의 글을 예상 표절했다는 단서로 네 가지를 들고 있다. ‘닮음’, ‘은폐’, ‘시간적 도치’, ‘부조화’이다. 바야르는 프루스트와 모파상의 사례를 통해 예상 표절이라는 개념을 설명하는데, 그는 프루스트와 모파상의 문장과 내용의 유사성을 언급하며, 프루스트의 글에서는 자연스럽게 녹아 있는 문장이, 모파상의 글에서는 부조화로 남아 있다는 점을 짚는다. 예상 표절은 현재의 텍스트가 과거와의 상호작용이면서, 또한 잠재성을 품은 미래와의 상호작용이며, 텍스트가 항상 미래를 향해 의미적으로 열려있음을 뜻한다.
2장 ‘역전된 호출 : 1980년대에서 2000년대 시단’에서는 진은영의 평론 ｢감각적인 것의 분배｣(2008) 글을 통해 시와 경제 를 재귀적으로 살펴본다. 그리고 예상 표절의 개념을 통하여, 80년대 시와 경제 가 갖는 의미를 도출해본다. 3장 ‘ 시와 경제 의 언어 혁신과 잠재성’에서는 문학사적으로 필연적인 존재 의미를 획득한 시와 경제 의 성격을 짚은 뒤 논의를 이어간다. 동인·무크지로서의 시와 경제 는 왜 언어 혁신의 과업을 이룩하려는 것인지, 두 가지로 연구한다. 시와 경제 는 문학의 민주화를 선언하였고, 이를 실천하기 위해서 생활에 밀착된 언어를 시로 끌어들인다. 동인들의 각 작품을 짚어보면서 공통점을 추출해보았는데, 이들의 시는 평범한 일상으로부터 시작되며, 생활의 부침과 때로의 기쁨의 순간을 시적으로 형상화하고 있다. 문학의 민주화라는 역할과 의의와 함께 시와 경제 는 70년대 ‘민족’과 ‘민중’이라는 잔류를 이어받아서 80년대만의 언어 혁신을 실천했다. 그들의 시 정신은, 미래에 잠재된 가능성으로 살아 있다는데 또한 역할과 의의가 있다.

This study examines the role and significance of Siwa Kyoungje , a literary coterie magazine and mook magazine in the 1980s. Korean literature in the 1980s, amidst the political and social chaos of the 60s and 70s, was a time when diverse voices emerged. In particular, many types of doujin and mukji appear. Among them, Poetry and Economy not only achieved the politics and aesthetics of literature in the 1980s, a period of literary hiatus and expansion, but also achieved them.
As a methodology for researching the role and significance of Siwa Kyoungje , we discussed Pierre Bayard's expected plagiarism and Rancière's discussion of aesthetics. Pierre Bayard's predicted plagiarism is an unfamiliar concept, but Siwa Kyoungje viewed through this concept can point out a deeper literary historical significance. Bayard gives four clues that a senior writer has plagiarized a junior writer's work. ‘Resemblance’, ‘concealment’, ‘temporal inversion’, and ‘disharmony’. Bayard explains the concept of expected plagiarism using the examples of Proust and Maupassant. He mentions the similarity in content with the sentences of Proust and Maupassant. This refers to the fact that sentences that seem natural in Proust's writings remain incongruous in Maupassant's writings. Expected plagiarism is the interaction of the present text with the past, but also with the potential future. This means that the text is always semantically open toward the future.
Chapter 2, ‘Reversed Call: Poetry from the 1980s to the 2000s’, looks retroactively at Siwa Kyoungje through Jin Eun-young’s critical essay ｢The distribution of the Sensible｣(2008). And through the concept of expected plagiarism, the meaning of Siwa Kyoungje in the 1980s is derived. Chapter 3, ‘Language Innovation and Potential of Siwa Kyoungje ’, continues the discussion by pointing out the nature of Siwa Kyoungje , which has acquired an inevitable meaning of existence in literary history. Siwa Kyoungje as a coterie magazine and mook magazine is studied in two ways as to why it is trying to undertake the task of language innovation. Siwa Kyoungje declared the democratization of literature, and in order to put this into practice, language closely related to daily life was brought into poetry. We looked at each of the group's works to extract commonalities. Their poems begin from ordinary daily life and poetically embody the ups and downs of life and the occasional moments of joy. Along with the role and significance of democratizing literature, Siwa Kyoungje inherited the theme of ‘nation’ and ‘people’ from the 70s and practiced language innovation unique to the 80s. Their poetic spirit also has a role and significance in that it continues to live with potential in the future.
