<태원지>가 해체한 것과 희석한 것에 대하여 (A study on the dismantling and dilution of narrative)

초록

이 글은 <태원지> 서사에서 해체된 것과 희석된 것을 살펴본 것이다. <태원지>에서전국옥새는 네 단계를 거치며 그 가치가 하락했다. 첫째 단계는 임성이 획득했을 때이다. 이때 전국옥새는 중원회귀, 등극과 통일을 상징했다. 둘째 단계는 용왕이 욕심을내는 때이다. 용왕은 중원으로 갈 수 있으나 중원을 통일하거나 새로 나라를 세울 영웅은 아니다. 이 단계에서 전국옥새는 왕이라면 욕심낼 만한 보물로 전락했다. 셋째, 순풍이 천리안이 욕심내는 때이다. 순풍이 천리안은 중원으로 회귀할 수 없는 요괴로두 요괴가 욕심냄으로써 전국옥새는 중원 회귀의 상징성도 퇴색하게 되었다. 마지막으로 태원에 이르렀을 때이다. 임성 일행은 태원에서 전국옥새를 내세우지 못했다. 이러한 전국옥새의 가치 하락은 중원의 역사적 권위가 해체되는 과정이었다. 다음으로해상 구멍의 의미를 살폈다. 해상 구멍을 통해 대양으로 곧바로 이동한 임성 일행은외국인을 만나지 못했다. 민족 갈등이 의도적으로 배제되었으며 태원에 이르러 임성일행은 해적 취급을 받았다. 이 과정에서 중원인이 지녔던 민족적 우월함은 희석되었다. <태원지>는 임성의 표류를 통해 중원의 역사적 권위를 해체했고 중원인의 민족적 우월감을 희석했다

In <Taewonji>, Imperial Royal Seal went through four stages and its value declined. The first stage is when imseong is acquired. At this time, Imperial Royal Seal symbolized the return of the China, reunification, and the founding of a nation. The second stage is when the dragon king of the Sea is greedy. The dragon king of the Sea can go to the China, but he is not a hero who will unify the China or establish a new country. At this stage, Imperial Royal Seal of China has become a treasure that would be greedy for a king. Third, when the Sunpungi(順風耳), the Cheonlian(千里眼) is greedy. The Sunpungi, Cheonlian, is a m onster that cannot return to the China, and as the two monster were greedy, the symbolism of returning to the China was also faded. It was the last time LimSeong and his party reached Taewon. His party were unable to present Imperial Royal Seal in Taewon. In the end, Imperial Royal Seal was a worthless item, not a treasure trove. This decline in the value of Imperial Royal Seal was the process of dismantling the historical authority of the China.
Next, the meaning of the maritime hole was examined.
Limseong’s party, which m oved directly to the ocean through a sea hole, did not meet foreigners. In the ocean, Limseong and his party did not experience ethnic conflict, which was the result of the writer excluding ethnic conflict through a hole in the sea. In addition, Limseong’s party was in danger of dying due to ignorance caused by a sense of national superiority when they met a fox. Ethnic conflict was intentionally excluded, and when they reached Taewon, Limseong and his party were treated as pirates. In this process, the national superiority of the China was diluted.
<Taewonji> dismantled the historical authority of China through the drifting of Limseong and diluted the national superiority of the people of China. LimSeong unified Taewon not as a hero who obtained the national seal, but as a descendant implied in children’s songs. However, Taiwon was structurally a place where it was not possible to divide the same fortune as China. There were no cultural differences either. It can be said that pluralism has been maintained and there has been no war.
Therefore, it can be said that <Taewonji> dismantled the Jikbang(職方) world and at the same time dismantled the world view of monism that was the basis of it.
