중국 어린이 박물관 시각 디자인 커뮤니케이션의 관람객 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Audience Experience of Visual Design Communication at Children’s Museums in China)

초록

어린이들이 박물관 관람을 통해 문화를 알아가며 교육을 받는 것이 보편화되고 있다. 이러한 배경 아래 어린이 박물관의 시각적 디자인 특성 분석을 통한 시각 정보 커뮤니케이션의 효율성 제고 및 커뮤니케이션 효과 향상에 대해 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 어린이 박물관 교육 활동은 박물관의 중요한 기능 중의 하나이다. 본 연구는 어린이 박물관의 시각 디자인을 검토하고, 중국 어린이 박물관 교육에 대한 연구 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 시각 디자인 프로젝트 연구를 통해 중국 어린이 박물관의 실례를 분석하였다. 이를 근거로 현재 중국 어린이 박물관의 시각 디자인에 대한 문제를 파악하고, 개인 인터뷰, 설문 조사 등을 통해 얻은 실질적인 정보를 가시화하고 데이터를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 어린이 박물관 시각 디자인의 특성 문제와 원인을 규명하고, 연구 과정 중 시각장 영역, 커뮤니케이션 모드, 정보의 시각화 처리 방법을 사용하여 나타난 문제의 개선책을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 시각 디자인 구성에 대하여 설문 응답자의 체험 및 검증에 근거하여 분석하고 개선책을 마련하도록 하였다. 향후 어린이 박물관은 디지털 미디어와 과학 기술 발전의 영향으로 실제와 가상이 결합한 커뮤니케이션의 형태와 함께, 교육 활동, 문화 생산, 커뮤니케이션과 체험을 통해 도시문화 시스템과 대중 사회 네트워크에 참여하는 형태로 발전할 전망이다. 본 연구는 어린이 박물관을 대상으로 시각 디자인 특성을 연구하고, 경로와 범위를 확인하여 디지털 기술을 융합한 다양한 전시의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 또한 중국 내 어린이 박물관의 시스템적인 시각 구축 형태의 기조를 박물관 문화 전승에 발맞춰 교육 발전에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

It is becoming increasingly common for children to sense cultures and receive education through museum visits. Against this background, it is necessary to analyze how visual design characteristics of children's museums can improve the efficiency of visual information communication and enhance communication effectiveness. Children's museum educational activities are one of the important functions of museums. This study aims to examine the visual design of children's museums and provide research directions for the education of children's museums in China. First, we analyze the practice of Chinese children's museums through visual design project research. Based on this, we identified the current problems of visual design in Chinese children's museums, visualized the practical information obtained through personal interviews and surveys, and analyzed the data. Through this, we identified the problems and causes of the characteristics of visual design in children's museums, and proposed improvement measures for the problems that emerged during the research process using the visual field area, communication mode, and information visualization processing method. Finally, the analysis was improved based on the survey respondents' experience and verification of the visual design composition. In the future, under the influence of digital media and scientific and technological advances, children's museums will develop into a form of real and virtual defective communication, as well as a form of participation in urban cultural systems and mass social networks through educational activities, cultural production, communication and experience. This study aimed to study the visual design characteristics of children's museums, identify the path and scope, and suggest the direction of various exhibitions integrating digital technology. In addition, the systematic form of visual construction in children's museums in China is intended to contribute to the development of education in line with the transmission of museum culture.
