한국어-외국어 대조 연구 현황 분석-아세안-인도 및 유라시아 지역의 8개 언어를 중심으로- (A Study on Trends of Contrastive Researches between Korean and Foreign Languages - Focusing on Eight Languages Used in ASEAN-India and Eurasian Region)

초록

This study aims to draw future questions, by examining the trends of contrastive studies on Korean and eight languages used in ASEAN-India and Eurasia. It analyzed the research chronology, purposes and topics, and the types of publication, for 649 studies that had been published from 1990 to 2021. The entire findings indicated that the number of studies began to be substantially increased since the early 2000s, and some languages were drastically grown since the 2010s. Each number of studies on foreign language education, research purpose and master’s theses, and types of publication were highest, respectively (n=396, 61%; n=374, 57.6%). The number of studies on grammar was highest (n=224, 34.5%), followed by vocabulary, and then, pronunciation and discourse. It was also found that there is a variation in the research tendency among eight languages. It suggested that some languages in which fewer studies have been conducted would require the accumulation of studies in all aspects, while the others in which relatively more studies have been conducted would require the diversity of topics. It has an implication in that it analyzed the entire trends, where there was no research analyzing contrastive studies on them.
