태화강 반구천의 암각화 축적 장소성에 관한 고찰 : 반구대암각화를 중심으로 (A Study on the Accumulated Placeness of ‘Petroglyphs along the Bangucheon Stream’ in Taehwagang River : Focusing on Bangudae Petroglyphs)

초록

선사시대 암각화는 인류의 공통 문화유산이다. 태화강 반구천 계곡에 위치한반구대암각화는 “신석기 시대 고래의 생태적 특징을 다각도에서 입체적이고 정교하게 표현한 유례없는 유물”로 평가되고 있다. 여기에 암각화를 왜 이곳에 새겼을까? 하는 위치적, 공간적 특성에 관한 관심은 중요하다. 선사시대 환경에 대한 이해는 인류 공통의 가치와 문화를 탐색하는 계기가 된다.
‘반구천의 암각화’ 지형적 위치는 바다와 강, 산을 끼고 생활한 선사인 삶의 터전에 자리하는 것으로 여겨진다. 고래를 사랑하고 야생동물을 대상으로 하는 생존법을 체득한 선사인들이 그들만의 치적이나 기념비적인 이야기들을 바위에 새겼다고 한다. 반구대 암각화는 장기간에 걸쳐 축적된 암각화다. 본 연구에서 빛과 그림자 요소의 공간적 특성에서 빛의 시간성과 기능을 분석한 결과 ‘햇빛 암각화’라 할 만한 의미를 부여할 수 있는지를 살펴볼 것이다.
반구대 암각화의 위치적 가치에서는 암각화가 처한 입지 환경이 벼랑바위‧실개천‧너럭바위의 3요소를 가진 공간이라는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 또한, 암각화 지역의 바위 지형에 소리 전달 기능의 여부도 관찰하였다. 그로 인해 암각화 환경 분류에서 수면 아래의 너럭바위에 대한 발굴조사 범위를 확장할 필요가 있다는 결론에 도달했다. 따라서 현재의 암각화만 보호할 것이 아니라 수면 아래까지의 입지적 환경도 입체적으로 보존해야 한다는 당위성을 본 논문에서 제기하고자 한다. 본 논문은 선사인들이 선정한 암각화 지역의 가치를 재평가하고 입체적인 복원을 통하여 세계유산으로서 위상을 높이는 데에 도움이 되고자 한다.

It is necessary to study the physical characteristics of petroglyphs and what environmental factors have affected petroglyphs.Prehistoric petroglyphs are a common cultural heritage of mankind. The Bangudae Petroglyphs located in the Bangucheon Valley of the Taehwa River are evaluated as “unprecedented relics that express the ecological characteristics of whales in the Neolithic Age in a three-dimensional and sophisticated manner from multiple angles.” Why were petroglyphs engraved here? It is important to pay attention to the positional and spatial characteristics of Understanding the prehistoric environment provides an opportunity to explore common human values ​​and culture. The topographical location of Bangucheon is regarded as the home of prehistoric people who learned how to survive with whales and wild animals.
What I would like to suggest in this paper is to analyze the locational conditions and environment of petroglyphs with a new approach. It is considered to be in a special environmental position where the wisdom of prehistoric men stands out in the locational conditions of the Bangucheon Valley of the Taehwa River.Bangudae petroglyphs are petroglyphs accumulated over a long period of time. The petroglyphs of the Neolithic Age, which were accumulated by prehistoric men of each era, were discovered. In this study, as a result of analyzing the temporality and function of light in the spatial characteristics of light and shadow elements, we will examine whether it can be given a meaning worthy of being called 'sunlight petroglyph'.In the positional value of the Bangudae petroglyphs, it can be confirmed that the location of the petroglyphs has a space with three elements: cliff rock, silgaecheon, and neoreok rock. In addition, we will observe whether the rock topography of the petroglyph area has a sound transmission function. In the petroglyph environment classification, it was reached that it is necessary to check whether there is a rock under the surface of the water. Therefore, in this paper, it is suggested that the water surface of Sayeon Dam not only protects the current petroglyphs, but also preserves the entire environment in three dimensions with awareness of the entire environment and location below the water surface. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the entire environment of Bangudae petroglyphs, reevaluate the value of the petroglyph area selected by Bangudae people, and help to properly establish the status of a world heritage through three-dimensional restoration.
