초록

The ancient Greek theater had developed in a way that the
complex and collective experiences of building, staging and
viewing interplay and evolve. The changes in three basic elements
of the theater, skene, orchestra and theatron corresponded to the
one in the drama itself as well as to the improvement in the sound
and the view. As the most influential form of the popular culture at
that time, the tragedy did not simply develop its form and manner,
but also transformed its way of appealing to the audience.
From Aeschylus to Sophocles, to Euripides, the tragedy had
become more and more visually emphasized, forming a separated
stage from the audience. The orchestra assumed the form of
circle, the theatron, correspondingly, the fan-shape, and the skene
became a solid structure defining the stage. The audiences in
the theatron assigned in a certain sector and row after their tribe
and the class, where they were disciplined and infused with the
civil ideal and moral through the hero-narrative. That was what
supported and leaded the major society of the ancient Greece.
