1. Summary
B.B.Q founded by GENESIS Co. in 1995 is a pure native brand, have about 1760 member stores and is the largest chicken franchise company in Korea.
The number of its member stores exceed that of KFC’s member stores which is the giant foreign chicken franchise company, and after 2001, it has maintained the top in Korea in terms of sales.
BBQ have made its member stores clean and sanitary by maintaining and supporting them thoroughly and constantly and got them high-quality raw materials which make chicken foods’ product tasty.
Since it founded the chicken university in 2000, it has systematically educated the employees and the potential and present owners in its member stores.
Although it was on the top in chicken industry, it was not satisfied with that title. It opened up new markets in foreign countries, advanced into Spain and China and established its stores.
It is now acting for Korea’s franchise company and competing other companies in the world.
In the present time, BBQ has the affection of the customers by using extra virgin olive oil which is more expensive
