One of the World’s Five Healthiest Foods
Lately, the popularity of Korea’s favorite dish has been rising around the world. Now, a famous American magazine called “Health” has picked gimchi as one of the five healthiest foods in the world.
As you know, gimchi is spicy pickled cabbage with garlic, hot peppers and fish sauce. Maybe you don’t like it, but you should eat it because it is so healthy. Since gimchi is made of many kinds of fresh vegetables, it has vitamins A, B, and C in it. What’s more, it has very few calories in it, so it helps you lose weight. Best of all, the cabbage and garlic in gimchi are known to prevent cancer.
