Is the correction of student errors in a classroom regarded as negative reinforcement or positive reinforcement? Neither the positive nor the negative is true, what is the correction of errors?
Correction of errors happens a lot in the classroom, and especially it is often used by teachers when they teach second language. As we learned before this chapter, second language learners must show "Inter language," and "Inter language" means the learners make a lot of errors while they learn a second language. During making many errors, learners receive feedback from the teacher and the feedback is mainly composed of error correction. Learners decrease the number of errors by teacher`s feedback, and at the same time they show the progress in SLA.
