Introduction
My topic is ethnic and racial diversity in China. The purpose of this presentation is to share my research and discuss Chines ethnic problem. I will present Minority race persecution, Ethnic Korean living in China and International standard of Korean input method.
Background
China which is adjacent to the Korean peninsula is the socialist state and multiracial nations. The Han race accounts for 91.96% and 55 minority races account for 8.04% of the Chinese population. The typical minority races are Ethnic Korean, Uighur, Mongol(Tibetans). Each ethnics may have their differences but Chinese Government emphasize nation's unification and stability. So Chinese government try to maintain friendly relations between races. Chinese government's typical effort is ① Perform a democratic innovation. ② Encourage minority races use their own language and text. ③ Respect minority's manners and customs. ④ Guarantee freedom of religion. An ethnic self-government organization is an important political system. This system is each minority races executes ethnic local self-government to a residence, establish a self-governing organization and exercise an autonomy.
