Each country has their own cultures. Even if one Korea are separated two countries as North and South, each has its own culture. Both North Korea and South Korea share same language, same definition and origin of ethnic group, and history. However, they have different cultures. Cultures are complicated because they are composed various elements; the elements are history, ethnic group, education, politics, and economic system etc. Living in a country means to understand its culture and think something in the cultural boundary of the country. While I live here in Canada as a student and visitor, I could feel that Canada has a very interesting multi-cultural society that I have never experienced before, because I just have had a mono-cultural society as a Korean. Moreover, I came to know we could find some features and tendencies as a multi- and mono-cultural countries when I compare immigration policies in South Korea and Canada.
