소개글
"There are two types of laws: just and unjust. Every individual in a society has a responsibility to obey just laws and, even more importantly, to disobey and resist unjust laws."

What is law? Law can be defined as a system of rules and guidelines, and as such it structures politics, economics, and society. Even more importantly, law functions as a social mediator of relations among citizens. Two important questions concerning law are: 1) Who makes our laws? and 2) What is the purpose of having laws? In Korea, lawmakers propose bills and submit them at the National Assembly. They sometimes attempt to pass the bills at the National Assembly that benefit their political party. For this reason, many bills put forward by lawmakers may be unjust for some or even the majority of people. Laws should protect human rights and all people should be equal before the law. But since some bills are proposed for the purpose of benefiting the political party or the rich, such bills cannot be just for everyone. Thus, the law can raise important issues concerning equality and justice. I will argue that we should fight against unjust laws, exploring two reasons for this position.
