Self-organizing technique
the technique involves the use of an explant from the muscle of a donor animal which is then proliferated in a nutrient medium.
the explant method can be applied for In Vitro Meat Production System (IMPS) because the researchers propose that the tissue formed will most closely resemble meat, containing muscle cells, fat and other cells in familiar proportions, as present naturally and this composition would best mimic the in vivo environment.
