1. Objective of the experiment
The objective of the experiment is to provide students with visual images of phase behavior of CO2 as well as observation of the solubility of materials in supercritical CO2
2. Definition of supercritical fluid
-> At normal temperature and pressure, when substances that become gases and liquids also exceed the limit of a certain high temperature and high pressure called the supercritical point, the evaporation process does not occur, and thus a state in which gas and liquid cannot be distinguished, that is, becomes a critical state. Substances in this state are called supercritical fluids.
