1. BASK modulation
A. Design a MATLAB simulator for the BASK modulator and the corresponding demodulator, where the bit duration is 1μs and the carrier frequency is 7MHz.
B. Suppose the binary source data is *************0101010. By using the MATLAB simulator designed in Problem A, do the following.
(a) Plot the waveform of the non-return-to-zero level encoder output and the transmitted BASK signal.
(b) Plot the power spectral density of the BASK signal and find the transmission bandwidth.
bandwith 가 2M 정도로 측정됨
2. BPSK modulation (See Figure 7.4 in the textbook.)
A. Design a MATLAB simulator for the BPSK modulator and the corresponding demodulator, where the bit duration is 1μs and the carrier frequency is 7MHz.
B. Suppose the binary source data is *************0101010. By using the MATLAB simulator designed in Problem A, do the following.
(a) Plot the waveforms of the non-return-to-zero level encoder output, b(t), and the transmitted BPSK signal, s(t).
(b) Plot the waveform of the low-pass filter output in the coherent detector.
(c) Determine the output of the decision-making device.
