1. Schedule
Before we start to do our project, we make up our schedule according to the process. Actually our team has a problem with material delivery. That’s why we had to adjust our schedule a bit, but we tried to follow this process faithfully.
Main project process is ¹ Mopic selection and research→ ² System Modeling→ ³ System Verification→ ⁴ Report.
2. Goal of Project
We choose our project topic as ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control).
Firstly we’re gonna explain what the ACC is and how we gonna set objective for ACC.
For using the ACC, a driver sets the desired speed and time interval to the car which is in front. When the radar detector detects a slower vehicle in front of the car, the speed is automatically adapted it. When the road is clear again, the car follows the set speed. We used ultrasonic sensors to measure the distance between the front following car and lead car in order to actively control the speed of the following vehicle, thereby reducing the fatigue of the driver and improving the stability and convenience of the vehicle.
